Hello,

... so I've had quite a few unboxings pending for month and a lot of you kept asking me to finally get to it. I won't be writing a detailed review here and what not but hopefully detailed review with further videos will soon follow in coming days or so hopefully. As for right now, let's make do with the pictures and couple videos showcasing the clicky sounds of the keyboard as well as some basic default rainbow RGB effect which has been updated ever since I recorded that video months ago thus the detailed review will go over other lighting patterns as well such as Underwater, Thunderstorm, Pacman, Sonic Radar, Knight Rider and so on and on .. will try to cover as many as I can but mostly the ones I really like. So without any further ado, I bring to you Corsair K95 RGB in all it's glory.

So that's it folks, those are the pictures and the following one video showcasing the stuff I said above such as tactile feedback as well as some of the RGB lighting(default) in-motion.

Hopefully this covers it all for now, I'll let you know that none of the lights or any switches have died and I haven't faced any of the issues whatsoever considering either hardware or software and my input on both should be followed in a proper review thread soon InshaAllah.

Gigabyte Aivia K8100, hell of a keyboard .. still worked fine but the keys started popping out lol. Used it for about 3-4 years I think when I bought it from Czone in Karachi back in the day.

Adding any other sound to the video would've defeated the purpose of "tactile feedback" video, bro lol. I wanted it to capture it's sound thoroughly, wasn't a podcast about the keyboard anyway
Anyways, not sure why the difference in sound .. maybe it sounds more this way in video? Considering Cherry MX switches are all the same but the keycaps also play a role in it, depending on how they are made and implemented they can also change the way your switches sound so that could be the case with G.Skill one?

They sell aftermarket keycaps that I'll get sometime to add it on my keyboard, I saw some on Massdrop a while ago but missed it and can't seem to find it's listing or anywhere on web but as soon as I get around to it I'll definitely get my hands on those. They were basically Gold/Chrome/Bronze Skulls or Iron Man Skull instead of normal keys that you could put anywhere on your keyboard. They even had some Stormtrooper ones I think, so as soon as I find them I'll definitely add that to my keyboard.

Review video should follow soon, I'll use the DSLR to capture proper lighting and angle of the keyboard as well as take close up shots of the MX Switches in the review thread. Will try to do it soon :shifty:

Lol, . The whole rig one? My items should arrive from Amazon by 18-20 December InshaAllah then I'll take proper pictures. I was hoping to delay a bit more until I put in UV dye and what not in the loop, but for now I guess .. I can make do pictures with LEDs in there and distilled water? then I can do another shoot of the rig when it's totally done with all the LED fans as well as colored dye in it and most probably arcylic or PETG tubing instead of soft tubing that I have right now.

[MENTION=8932]Dark Sith[/MENTION]: btw broski ... you should delay your Skylake rig a bit more if you can and not buy it just yet, Haswell is much more stable at the moment than Skylake IMO unless you wanna deal with early adapters issues that Skylake mobos can't seem to get rid off then you're cool

Lol, thanks. I figured you would have liked this one. I got a Blue Pop Filter for that Yeti Mic as well btw, that thread is closed but will see if I can post it in the comment section there after getting the thread opened as the pictures have been taken months ago just need to upload it. Looks much sexier now with the pop filter on it since it's all metal build.

Amazing keyboard, RGB is a gimmick that we all love so it's not like you're missing out on anything with performance. I went wiht K95 to get extra set of keys for my work and not gaming otherwise K70 is just the same.
Don't have buyer's remorse at all as both are using the Cherry MX Switches unless I'm wrong. I guess yours is just as loud and tactile as mine in the video? Considering they'd have used the same keycaps or very similar at the very least.

Which screens are you going for and will you be gaming at quad? That's quite odd .. unless you want to use one monitor as a map focused one such as in the games like Battlefield then it'd be sick but whatever floats your boat
I'm waiting for decent 4K Panels to come out now, specially the ROG 4K Panel to be fixed and get rid of all the QC issues it's having and put 3x 4K altogether for work and gaming. I won't be doing surround but it's always good to have an option there since I can easily do 2K gaming on those panels just fine.

Surround 4K Displays for gaming is a big no no right now or even for next couple of years, hopefully Pascal will push that forward and every year we'll get a bit closer but even with that I doubt that's anywhere near here since SLI/CrossFire aren't sufficient enough but with DirectX 12 things might change .. it's all very interesting what's happening in the tech world nowadays so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Like I said above, 3x 4K Displays are nuts for gaming but like I mentioned I'm getting them for work and productivity for that there's never enough room for monitor for me so it'll suit me just fine. I will probably be doing some DIY desk projects when I come back to Pakistan from States or even do something in NOLA as I recently purchased power tools such as Miter Saw, Sanders etc but haven't used them yet so it's definitely on the list .. Desk Mod Case, for a fun project .. I doubt I'll keep that as my daily driver but who really knows. I use a big ass desk right now at my PK place from where I handle all my business so doing something with a small desk won't do but we'll see how that goes but it's not happening anytime soon. Do start your project and keep me in the loop, can learn and help as well during the process I'm sure.

I wonder how difficult was the 4K experience on a 24 inches panel, I prefer 30-32" to be the perfect spot for 4K monitor but 28" for now is doing fine. I'll be replacing my current one and adding two another 4K Panels for sure. One of them will be mainly the LG Cinema one if I can find one without QC issues or something of the kind while other two will be similar in specs. A lot of thinking and planning I have to do but let's see how all that pans out because as of this moment anything and everything keeping me away from purchasing and importing any monitor right now are QC issues so I'll be bringing monitors from States with me to Pakistan to avoid any of those issues InshaAllah.

Not interested in TVs, I was talking about monitors. But yeah, gotta visit one of these days to check it out.

Dont get disappointed, red is classy as hell believe me, personally for a backlit keyboard, it is only full red or full white for me atleast and nothing else matters. Blue makes it hard, very hard to read at night due to its limitations where as complete RGB makes it way more funky.
