Finally its done the upgrade to end all upgrades
An upgrade that is atleast 3 year too late

Why Core i7? Well since 3 years ago my logical update would be to a Quad Core processor but today one wants a little more kick than that in the form of 8 Threads

Why ASRock Z87 Extreme 6? Bang for Buck and decent price considering competing brands in Pakistan thanks to IMX

Why Corsair Vengeance? G.Skill wasnt in Stock HUEHUEHUEHUE

Feast ur eyes on the crappy pictures of beastly hardware

GPU upgrade is the next on the list but with being crippled under Core2Duo i believe this GTX560Ti still has a lot to prove and [MENTION=4374]Journeys End[/MENTION] impressions making me bent towards SSD aswell

PS: I can now finally play World of Warcraft without FPS dropping below 5 when 100 players are on the screen :tv:

zabardast! thats one beast of a system! but why those big ass Vengeance? i hope it doesn't become problematic later on when u install an aftermarket cooler for that i7. imo u should go for SSD first as our GPU was bottlenecked by those C2D and now i can say that with experiece. u will notice a nice boost in GPU intensive games. i say the 560ti can still stand any game thrown at it for the remainder of this year.

oh and now i know what u meant by front usb headers...anyway enjoy this special EID boosted by the power of 4 cores and 8 threads

Yeah the heat spreaders on Rams are big but i mostly probably will be going for Closed Loop Water Cooling from Corsair but its far away on the radar for now

DUDE! I am getting a similar setup. Only my CPU will be Core i5 instead of i7. I think that's an over kill. I can use that extra 10K towards an SSD

Moreover I also have a 560ti running on an oooooold core2duo e6300 ! I know my GPU will still show a lot on the new rig for another year!

I'll start testing my rig as soon as I get the new setup. Can't wait to try 3D games that don't feel like a slideshow!

I tried out tomb raider 2013 on my 3DTV with my current c2d rig. It runs decent enough to play until you hit open areas. But man its GORGEOUS (and not just talking about Laura here )!
