[Unboxing] BeastMode Build: Rebel's Noctua NH-D15S CPU Cooler

Finally got around to posting the unboxing pics for this epic CPU Cooler.

It came with one Noctua NF-A15 150MM fan but ships with braces to add a second fan. I added a second NF-A15 to take down the temps even more.

This thing is super quiet even with dead silence in at 3AM you can't hear any fan noise sitting 1.5 feet from the machine. Then again, it should be the case for a cooling brand referred to the Cadillac of Air Cooling.

At this stage I've maxxed out my chassis fans capacity with all-Noctuas and temps are just perfect.
4x Noctua NF-A14 PWM 140mm
2x Noctua NF-A15 PWM 150mm

Woow. Thats a huuuge cooler. Is there enough clearance for rams? Looks beasty!

Thank you. This is actually the revised version for the NH-D15 cooler for better clearance with GPUs in first PCI slot on X99 boards. For RAM clearance, it'll clear RAM upto 64MM tall. My HyperX Fury Black DDR4 kit has no issues even with the second fan installed.

Nice I love noctua coolers...had the legendary d14 myself and even back then it was the best air cooler available in the market...just dont dig the fan color anymore and TT riing/corsair (the one easylover has) are to blame lol

I always wanted this cooler, but I am too afraid for it damaging the motherboard. This thing is way too heavy and the fact that (although it is so sexy itself) it hides the beauty of RAMs and motherboard....

i think D15S is ultimate product from Noctua. The Best Part is They reduced Tower Fins from bottom from both end, helps terminating all issues regarding RAM clearance. I tried it as well, original one didn't come with second fan instead only middle one included. However, users can order another fan for their preference.

Yes it definitely Hide the beauty of mobo and RAM. However, Noctua has Top notch quality, with no second opinion. Even Liquid AIO cannot be used for longer run. They either gives leakages in pipes or their Rads are too poorly build. if you want Build with Exquisite finishing accompanied with performance closer or equal to AIO Liquid, Noctua D15S, is best bet. Also i find this dual tower have super easy installation. Its only matter of 2 screws top-Down and you're all good.

If you really are interested in NOctua Air cooler, Try HH-U14S its single and Slim Tower, delivering almost D14 Performance. The performance difference between D14 and D15 is merely any. May be 2C in few cases. i think NH-U14S is best Single tower Performance cooling solution with no incompatibility issue.

    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
