the board i ordered is black and blue. so red would look kind of awkward there. and the only blue sticks i found were kingston hyper x blu ones and i dont really like kingston after their whole ssd fiasco.

but anyway 8x8GB sticks should be awesome.

Well you're right about the dual socket part. but it isnt MSI. There's another manufacturer that used to have blue/black boards before it switched to the Gold/Black color scheme.
