Here's how PS4's new game sharing feature will work




On Oct. 28, the PlayStation 4 will receive a new feature dubbed Share Play as part of the console's 2.0 system software update. Share Play will let PS4 owners share their games over the internet, which Sony has likened to a "virtual couch." In a new video released by Sony Computer Entertainment, the company walks us through how that works and what the new feature really does.


With Share Play, PS4 owners virtually share a DualShock 4 controller. That feature lets another player take control of your game — to help you through a particularly tricky section of a game, for example — and lets another player join you for a local multiplayer session, virtually.





Those sharing features are available to other players, even if they don't own the game. But there is one important limitation: Share Play sessions are restricted to one hour.

so i have been offered far cry 4 limited edition region 2, but i have a region 1 PS4 and PSN account, my question is will i be able to redeem any xtra items that come with it and another question is will i be able to buy and download dlcs from PSN for fc4???

yes just make another uk account which is region 2 and redeem the extra codes from the region 2 copy of farcry 4 and u can still play the game and get the extra dlc on ur first region 1 account as long as the region 2 account stays on ur ps4 and doesn't get deleted !

neither the ps4 nor the xbox one has piracy on it yet

sure u can look around pg marketplace i have seen some threads about gamesharing on the ps4 etc

well since ur a pc gamer i'd say stick with that than. since ur more happy with getting free games that would be good with u, upgrade ur pc and get free games but u won't get some exclusives ever on pc for the ps4 or xbox one if u can live without em than stick with pc other wise get a ps4

black friday is here, amazon.com 399$ for ps4 with gta 5 for ps4 and last of us remastered.

I was thinking of buying a ps4 . I have done my research and i really like exclusives a performance ps4 is offering.
But i was just wondering does ps4 has a heating problem,because i don't have a ac in my room.Has anyone experienced heating issues?

No heating issues on PS4. No matter if there's AC or not, the PS4 should be placed in a well ventilated area.
Though My PS4 is placed vertically with pretty little space but I've never experienced heating issues. Yes it does gets loud sometimes but it's due to games as some games are power hungry!!

There's no region problem with PS4.
For example region.1 game can work on region.2 console.
The only thing is that in region.1 PS4, like normal, the X button is used to select an option and O button for back/cancel while in region.2/3 its opposite i.e. O button to select and X for back.
There are currently 3 regions on PS4 1, 2 and 3.
3 is the cheapest and 1 is the most expensive.
Region 3 cost as low as 43k and region 1 is around 47-48k while region 2 costs around 45k.

No, the region console doesn't matter regarding PS Plus.

dude my ps4 fan makes noise , altho its in an open space :/
