tracking SIM card?

so today my cell phone got stolen during one of our extra classes.

now i need to know is there any way to track the phone/SIM?

i dont think there is...in pakistan atleast...maybe depends on your connection...my mobile got snatched last year...i called ufone from my brother's mob as soon as the whole scene was over but they said ke they cant track sims the max they can do is block the sim to stop its usage...

police can track ur phone i think or u could give ur imei number to pta so that they mai block that imei number so no one can use any sim on it :O

You will need an FIR with imei mentioned before pta blocks the imei, i think.

There is no need of FIR to get the sim blocked through PTA or through your service provider.

If youve got connections in police or FIA etc you can know the last location and perhaps the last sim

Useless to waste your time if you've Data or anything on Phone you can locate possible but if it was OFF then useless to waste your time Fatiya parhlo.

Phone's can be tracked, for those who got contacts in Law agencies.. Simple.

Not a problem for IB or ISI, you just gotta have a link in their IT or Mobile Tracking section and they can do it for you.

Any Communication device can be tracked ..It will not tell you the exact Location but as JSHAK said we can track the area where it was last Contacted through BTS.
