Thing that annoys me most, Advice needed

Hi everyone. I am making this thread because of those people who force me to shave off my beard I have goatee style beard sometimes I keep chin strap beard. Why are they forcing me they always include Islam in their argument they say its against Sunnah. When I say to them are you following Sunnah [most of the people who have this argument with me have mustache some have half beard (not full length acording to Sunnah)] Sunnah of beard is "Shave your mustache and grow you beard" you are also going against it shaving your beard and keeping your mustache or keeping half beard. They say to me we are not making people laugh at beard. WTH what kind of narrow minded thinking is this. Not all people are same in this world if there are few people who are thinking what kind of beard/sunnah is this then there will also be few people who will be thing about your facial style too what kind of sunnah/beard is this. Everyones thinking is not like you. Its OK I dont mind If you dont like my facial style just tell me that you dont like my facial style If my intentions are to impress you I will shave it if not I DONT GIVE A F*** whether you like it or not. But why are you incluing Islam in this is there any fatwa against this type of facial style tell me. I will shave it. If not why are you forcing people your likes/dislikes on poeple in the name of Islam. There are also some people with whome you cant argue on this like when guest comes to you home and say this. I am sure that most of the people here who have goatee or soul patch or other styles of beard have gone through same situation many times.

i believe my dear brother the people forcing you against this quality style beard this is because we Dont have Statue Of Liberty here in our Great Country Pakistan , and in my point of view you are doing in a totally Liberal Way , every single person should be given Liberty in order to expand the features and functionality of his Or Her Body

to be very much honest i would like to include one more important fact as according to my knowledge i have seen mostly Arabs Men with The French Cut Beard Style and they are really Cool with it they Love it , and once occasionally i was watching a Channel of I guess An Arabs Channel Belonging from Saudia OR Dubai but it was all Arabic and well dressed Men Interviewer was standing in the market asking questions about Style and yes there he asked a question about style and keeping this French Beard The person in return of the questions said "Girls Digg It" Girls Love It ,yeah its an interesting fact

I am not eligible enough to give you advice but the next time someone tells you to shave, do not argue with them, just accept what they say and keep not giving a fuck. The more you try to argue with elders the more it will anger you and mess up your brain, which will result in you losing self esteem and you will eventually shave your facial hairstyle.

Also, I find it funny how people act like they are all Sunnah-following Muslims by just having a beard. However, they don't realize they are missing 99% of other sunnah acts. They COMPLETELY take that out of the picture and think that having a beard is the only requirement to enter Jannat!

I guess everyone is right in this thread. You should keep a beard but it is a Sunnah not a Farz so you may or may not keep it. And, as someone said don't fight with elders; it will only make them more aggressive.

But it is v unlikely that u r going to find a person qualified enuf to guide u with logic , proof and authentic example. U should better take guidance from any mufti or scholar u think is good. Lol, I'm a very strong advocate against modernization and I always regard TRUE Islam as the answer to our problems. But, a goatee isn't actually haraam as per my limited knowledge of the Shariah. We have many hardliners in our society who actually hate the West for some other matters and they take it all out on others.

Everyone who is saying beard is only sunnah, is wrong. Beard is 'wajib' is Islam and that too size of closed hand (so called 'muthi'), and its a fact u ppl should confirm it from ur concerned Mufti/Aalim. Atleast it is what i have listned from Sunni Ulama many times.
Wajib means zaruri, if u dont keep beard it is a sinful act.
@topic: bro fashion k naam pe jo krna hai karo but atleast not with the beard. For example, Keep 'zulfain' upto shoulder, yes it is a fashion, yet it is Sunnah.
Bary to games b nhi khelny dety kehty hain k bary hojao. So dont listen to them and as is said most often on pg 'game hard'. :thumbup:
