Hello,
I recently purchased the aforementioned PSU from someone used. put it in my system. it powers the mobo and cpu (I could post and go into BIOS) but its sata connector burned two of drives. first, I used mechanical 2.5'' drive which was old so I thought it must have died. The second adata ssd drive was brand new, used for the first time. I put in this drive tuned the system on and immediately saw smoke coming out of where its sata/power connectors were.
The PSU came with its cables (not complete set)
any thoughts what could be wrong with the PSU? and most importantly how do I get it checked/fixed?

My location; RWP/ISB

can you post a pic of cables you plugged with psu and then with your hard drives please. Also cables came with the psu were original or aftermarket?

Thank you for replaying, @drsargex

I got total of 7 cables. 1x24pin, 1xCpu, 3xSata, 1xMolex, 1xPCIe ( Complete set should be 1x24pin, 1xCpu, 3xSata, 1xMolex, 2xPCIe, 1xFloppy).
They all looked liked original and at a glance, I had no reason to suspect otherwise and watching the Reviews/Unboxing videos of this PSU on YT and tom's hardware, they looked original.
Here's the cable that I used. It had 4 sata connectors on so I thought this should suffice for my needs so lets use it.
and now taking the picsof these cable I have noticed, the one I used has making on it "type4" the other two don't, neither does the Molex cable. CPU cable has a "CPU" marking and PCIe cable also has "PCIe" which is very prominent and bold compared to the Sata one that I used which now makes me think this cable might not belong to the bunch despite looking similar. Also, the one I used is bit more stiff to bend. the others are bit more softer. there are also some other differences that are mentioned in the pics link below.

The problem was the cable which I did use. I tried my luck with the other two cables, and now I am typing this comment from my new built.
Damn, that cable cost me 10K and two drives.

Do you think the seller is responsible for this? since he didn't tell me about the cable and to me it looked like same as the rest of the bunch. That's why it never occurred to me before making this post here to check for cables or that the one cable I am using is actually doesn't belong to this PSU.
