Thermal Paste Applying Gone wrong

Yeah so it was my first time applying thermal paste it was the injection type cartridge and i emptied the entire thing on the processor but instead of making a pea sized dot i made a slash type from corner to corner and while putting on my HSF some of it got on the green circuit part of the processor. I fired up my PC and it ran but i'm kinda paranoid. So will it affect my processor in terms of temperature and should i remove it or should i keep it since it's only a little bit. Also i don't have the tools to clean it so that's why i haven't but if its going to make a difference then i'm willing to buy the stuff.

Also I recently tried cleaning it a bit however since i didn't have isophoryl alcohol there was still some residue left. Also I've been reading in a lot of forums that i would have to reapply the thermal paste because i removed the HSF to clean but im not really sure since this was a brand new paste that i just applied last night and i only removed it for around 10 minutes. So what do you think should i just completely remove the thermal paste and apply new one (which would be a massive pain in the ass because i would have to buy isophoryl alcohol and new thermal paste) or should i keep this? Also i don't know if my thermal paste is conductive atleast i don't think it is. My paste is the stock thermal paste you get from cooler master hyper 103.
