Way more than good enough to do a install on it, did you do a legit upgrade from Windows 7/8.x to Windows 10 or did you used the cracked version?

If you used the a genuine Windows 7/8.x upgrade them I'd suggest to install the same OS again with the same key and then do the upgrade again and this time make sure you don't have whatever that tool is stopping you from booting up and that way your Windows 10 will be genuinely activated and only and only after that you can do a fresh install of Windows 10 to make sure it's genuinely activated but until you go through the upgrade process, it won't activate your Windows 10 as they never give you the key but locks the Windows 10 to your Microsoft ID and maybe hardware IDs too? Not sure about that.

I upgraded from my legit win 7 home premium which came installed on my laptop.
If i am not getting you wrong, you mean first i install win 7 which was previuosly installed then update it till windows 10 but before that i must uninstall that facial login software.

Exactly! That way you can be sure to have your genuine Windows 10 copy on your laptop instead of a cracked one. :)

That is exactly why I suggested an external drive, when you will do a fresh install of OS on it just boot into operating system from that and do a backup of your C drive and everything. Just follow this from point to point.

1. Connect your external hard drive to your laptop, install Windows 7 on it the one that came with your laptop and activate it with the key you have genuine one.2. Once your Windows 7 installation is done, copy your C drive data to wherever you want and then remove that facial recognition software and pretty much everything else just to be sure.
3. Begin the upgrade process of Windows 10 on your external drive and once it's done and you can go and make sure it's activated then begin to next step.
4. Now make an ISO of Windows 10 from their Media Creation Tool that you can find here: windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install (Make sure you download the right version such as 32bit or 64bit of Home or Pro, whatever you are eligible for which is Home most likely in your case.)
5. You can either burn the ISO on the DVD or make a bootable USB drive using their Media Creation Tool or you can just download the ISO from Media Creation Tool and use Rufus or Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool to make your USB bootable with Windows 10 ISO.
6. Now you can disconnect your external hard drive and boot into your laptop with Windows 10 and do a fresh install directly on your laptop drive and once it's all done, you can go ahead and make sure it's all activated.
7. Then and only then after all the above steps are done you will begin to install your softwares, drivers etc unless it's absolute necessary that you cannot begin forward without them.
8. Enjoy.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

It will automatically activate the windows when installation is done and your Microsoft account is logged in, just skip whenever it asks you for a key as there will be an option for it there. It asked me twice and I skipped twice and it went fine for me but to be able to do all that you need to follow the steps carefully exactly in that order to make sure you are activated first which can only happen through a genuine process of upgrading from your Windows 7 to Windows 10.

Original ISO will be ideal because you don't know which version exactly is from the CD and the one that came with your laptop. Make sure it's the right one that matches your key so it can all go smooth.

I also.got.it on.my rig.lolll
I have yet to benefit it in games but so far loving the experience overall, whereas playing BF4 with DivineTerra couple hours ago he said "40 fps increase since installing Windows 10" idk if he was trolling or what but .. that's hard to digest lol.
Great experience overall really, had some issues with Photos App and that was also sorted last night with the latest update so no issues at this very moment.

LOL Umer that wasn't me, that was our other squad mate...... I wish I had such a massive increase. I played battlefield 4 with 4 gb ram for a week on windows 8.1 and I had stuttering issues, crashes, and it took time to close or change windows but ever since I changed to windows 10 all those problems have vanished. My theory is that windows 10 utilizes and manages ram much more effectively than windows 8.1. I can now use edge while playing battlefield 4 and switch easily.
