Been away from this thread for a while. Lots of new updates but I'm not going to post all of them. Instead i'll just try to keep the thread updated from now on.

As far I am concerned these days i'm busy with my new priest. Leveled her within a month or so and now im doing Heroic ICC with her.

Two important updates on the Cata Beta.

Dual-Specialization Price Reduced
The price of Dual-Specialization has been lowered in a recent beta build, it now costs 100 gold and new players who reach level 40 should be able to afford it without too much problem.

Character Selection Screen - Built-In Theorycraft
In Cataclysm, the character screen will let you check easily how much of stat you need to be capped, calculations for Expertise, Hit Rating, and a few other stats are available. This will probably save you a lot of time when you try to figure out if you really need that extra hit on your shiny new epic.

I'm really glad to see theorycrafting being implemented in game. I always had trouble with expertise, armour penetration, hit etc as how much of an impact im getting.

Cata is expected to be released in Nov but the official statement is still Fall 2010 so we aint sure yet. As for lore its pretty slow, everyone is still doing either ICC or RS.

The new Glyph Interface in Cataclysm

Cataclysm - Glyph Interface Preview
The new interface for Glyphs is finally available and it comes with a couple of very interesting improvements.

• The biggest change, Glyphs are no longer a consumable item. You learn them and can swap them at any time after that, without having to buy them again.
• Prime Glyphs slots have been added
• All Glyphs are now listed, including the one you didn't learn yet.
• You can search for Glyphs, and filter them.

Finally battle for Gnomeragon and Zalazane is up

Zalazane's Fall and Operation Gnomeregan now on live servers
The first part of the Cataclysm prologue just started on live servers in the US and should be deployed in Europe tomorrow after the maintenance. Alliance player will find the Operation Gnomeregan event in Dun Morogh and Horde players should go to Durotar for Zalazane's fall. See the quest links below for more information.

Cataclysm official date leaked

Cataclysm Release Date - December 7th
Season 9 starts on December 14th, a blue post stated that Cataclysm would be released one week earlier.

Need help with rogue built and talents(WoW Tbc 2.4.3)

Hi all.Buddies i am a newb to wow.Started a rogue as my first character(which some ppl said was not a good pick for amateurs).

I have leveled to 70.Now the problem is i dont have good rig the epic 1.Wel i have to start raids now but i am not good for it currently.Plz advise me where to get good items from merchants like getting exalted with cities gives you some avg gear(an initial boost for raids).And again guild members have no space for new players.So please advise me some places where there are good drops or vendors for armour and daggers so i can build my rogue for raids.

p.s i also need help with talent specs.Some say fist weapon dagger are a good combo.Dual swords and daggers too.And if you can advise me a talent tree it would be appreciated.My rogue specialises in combat specs + some in assasination.:rock:
