Ptcl Smart tv box problem

i am new here just signed up bcz some of u might help me find the solution to my smart tv box video problem. it is a new box zte b760hs3 only a few days old. now what happened is that whenever i powered it off and back on again the screen of the video player would remain black i.e i was not able to see any channels although intermittently it was working fine. i changed the wired connection from pppoe to static ip and sometimes it would work sometimes again black screen.

i was so angry that i opened the box just to see what the problem was inside and i broke the seal means warranty gone! i saw the inside could not do anything! it has 1 gb ram! (pathetic) closed the box as it was before started it again and the ptcl screen came on bringing colors to life and now when i turned on the internet connection the screen turned green with artefacts all over the screen and i cant even see anything now.
i just dont understand what could be wrong by just opening the box and closing it again? i am sure i did not touch anything any connections on the board. do u guyz have any idea what might be wrong with it.
at first i thought its an hdmi issue but since the screen starts fine with ptcl logo and everything goes to the menu and only when i turn on the wifi or lan then it goes KABOOM! could the chip be damaged or ethernet port? is there any chance of revival?

Anyone getting low download speed even using "Download Manager" ? (it goes to 2.3MB/sec and then falls down to 400KB/sec)
I am getting extremely fluctuating speed between 400KB/sec to 900KB/sec.
Also this is after a very very long time i am testing speed or downloading something at peak hours (time between 7pm to 3am #PTCL).
Speed test using PTCL or any "Local Server" is as always not throttled and its showing 25MBPS speed (Full Speed)...
One more thing i have noticed that i cant go above 1.3MB/sec on any torrent (tested in day time [not peak hour])...
Youtube is working fine upto 4k... (Apart from this my connection is 25MBPS VDSL2 with perfect line stats)

When you keep something on download via "Download Manager" and try to browse any website it does not load up (except facebook and youtube)
Does this mean the issue lies in the MSAG bandwidth?

You should just report this to PTCL and not open at all...

Which area are you in? I am in Wapda Town, Lahore and no bandwidth issues here even during peak hours I get 3MB/s on IDM and well seeded torrents. Might be a MSAG bandwidth issue. Do you experience high ping too during peak hours?

100% bandwidth issue you will get full speed during fajar time.I was facing same issue on 50Mbps vdsl was receving 15Mbps in peak hours only solution is to mail and keep complaining about bandwidth throttling to area by exchange mine got resolve after a month.

They will send lineman for speed testing and most probably he will come in non peak hour so that he can take screenshot of one good result install some net limiter software on testing pc to limit speed if he insist on doing result in non peak hour.

if you know other users in area ask them to complain also about bandwidth,

Complain krate setup box defect ki mra b first month m brick hgya tha dil tu kr rha tha khol k dkho khae koi reset switch ho pr kia ni.
replace hgya tha within 4 days.

My friend's PTCL Smart TV's Set Top Box has a bootloop since yesterday. I personally checked, there is no reset button on the device. Is there a way to hard reset it ? or does he have to wait for the tech person to replace it with a new one?

this one has builtin modem? you need to add connections as given in your original ptcl modem

Does anyone else having constant disconnects in Read Dead Online? I can't keep playing for more then 30 minutes before getting 0x2001000 error or something and getting kicked back to main menu.
Can anyone else confirm being able to play RDR online fine? I have a 100 Mbit GPON line so stability isn't an issue.

As expected, PeeTCL screwed up again. Was getting good ping on 39.45 IP pool but yesterday my internet went down and when it started working today the ping was all f**ked up but my IP pool is same. Things just never go right with PeeTCL. Can't even play a single f***ing Rainbow 6 match after a long day, thanks to morons working at PeeTCL.

PTCL always finds a way to screw up after every 2-3 months. At this point I don't expect anything from their crummy service and whenever my connection is running fine they always find a way to screw it up and the meatheads working at their call centers don't understand crap. StormFiber is almost here but I know that it is useless to switch to because they also use PIE routes instead of TW which is a shame.
