Now Onic is going to be big flop
They could have easily capitalized on the cost factor, I got my sim and guess what cant even get 4g signals in my house its constantly showing 3G.

Even if they have kept package price at 70% of competition it was still worthy of trying as a second sim. Not with these rates

Same here. I live in Faisalabad city and there is no 4G coevrage in my area. I only get 2 bars of 4G at my rooftop. But according to their website coverage map our area is fully covered with 4G. When I complain about coverage, they said sorry 4G coverage is not available in your area, we are rolling it in phases and soon we will make it available for all. And they are saying this from past 3 years. If you can't cover urban area of 3rd largest city with your 4G, AAP KA KUCH NAHIN HO SAKTA.
why would I like to spend 900 Rupees for 3G.

PTCL in all over Fsd now has Fiber till every poll. But they still installed copper connection DPs and providing only copper wire connection in 99% of area. When you have fiber till pols, why the hell can't you provide FTTH connection. Resultantly every one got Nayatel or Stormfiber connection. 7 years ago every one in our street had PTCL but now all have Nayatel connections. And PTCL lost 80-90% connections in the city by the hands of nayatel and Stormfiber in past 5 years.

Clearly they don't know what ESIMs are lol. It's a QR code that's connected to a backend system. How you can run out of QR codes for a single individual number is beyond me.

That's like saying they've run out of QR codes for each roll number of each student in a school.

But anyway, this is Pakistan.

The PSID you get from PTA can be used to make a payment to FBR (basically, look for FBR on your app).
PSID payment of PTA tax is blocked from all mobile banking chanels. You need to visit E-Sahulat franchise

Do they have to upgrade every mobile tower for this or what?
It's usually a software switch at the network side because the radiowaves are there - it's a matter of letting the phone know aggregation is possible, and ensuring that the network supports aggregation to the nth value.

Also, I wonder how much spectrum has been allocated because right now, it's showing 20+5 - meaning it's skipping the bandwidth of one of the three carriers altogether in the screenshot.

Its 20+10+5. 20 in band 3, 10 in band 1 and 5 in band 8

I wish Telenor and Ufone merge into one company. They are struggling with coverage and speed. With their combined spectrum and coverage they can counter these problems.
Combined they can launch 40 MHz 3 way CA 4G+ with 20(band 3) + 10(band 1) + 10 (band 8).
10 MHz DC-HSPA+ on band 5
And 2G on remaining band 3 and 8.
And we will see 3 strong companies competition
