Mobilink 4G Faisalabad.
4G activation on my number is a story itself. Let me tell you briefly.

1. As mentioned in my above post today morning I chatted with Mobilink CSR at their website and inquired about 4G launch. She said Mobilink has softly launched 4G in 20 cities including Faisalabad. And for 4G activation I should contact via sms 3111 or Ecare.

2. I had a Mobilink sim that I was using as data sim in Zong unlocked wingle (I ported that sim on Mobilink 3 Months ago). But that sim refused to connect on 4G.

3. When I contacted on 3111, he said 4G is available on those 20 cities and If I am in one of them I can use it on 3G packages. When I said 4G is not connecting, he replied I should go to CSC with CNIC and replace 4G sim against Rs. 100.

4. I converted back my data sim into conventional sim and went to Jazz CSS in Faisalabad and asked him to replace my sim with 4G. He didn't said anything like 4G is not launched yet or it is for trial on selected numbers, He replaced my sim immediately.

5. When I inserted 4G sim in my cell, it was still catching only 3G signals not 4G.

6. When I dial help line for LTE activation, a lady CSR straight away refused by saying that 4G is only available in Isb/RWP on selected numbers. And 4G sims have already been despatched to them. When I argued her that I have confirmed twice from Jazz chat and 3111 that 4G has launched and I just have to get 4G sim for LTE. But she was still insisting that 4G is not available in Faisalabad and I am saying sorry if they (chat n 3111) misguided me. But I asked her to connect my call to her supervisor, after 2 minutes hold she again said that I have confirmed now that 4G is not available in Faisalabad, but If I still want to talk with supervisor, I will be called by him within an hour. I said O.K (I didn't recieved it yet after more than 2 hours)

7. Than I again contact on jazz website chat and luckily got same lady who talked with me in morning. Upon inquiry she said even after 4G sim, 4G activation is necessary. And for 4G activation I should contact 3111.

8. When I contacted 3111, He said the guy who replaced my sim at CSC would activate 4G. I said website chat representative is saying you will activate and you are saying sim replacement guy will activate, what is this topi drama?
He said 4G automatically activate when 4G sim replaced. When I said 4G is not being connected even on LTE only mode, He asked my cell model number etc. And after some more discussion I received a msg that LTE services has been activated on my number. After restart 4G got connected on my number.
