I rang up Mobilink, asking them how can I be enlisted in the trial. I didn't catch the agent's name, but he said that a specific set of numbers are eligible for the trial, and that everything is controlled from the "back end".
He didn't give me a timeline on the commercial launch either, so I'm sticking to "December".
It's a good thing I didn't bother going to the service center to get a 4G SIM.

Not for me as well but I was managed to activate 3G on warid but mobilink 4g is not working and the helpline and chat guys are saying postpaid numbers are not eligible lol

They are increasing the prices for few of the internet bundles on Monday 21 November. Maybe they will be launching a little sooner!

As [MENTION=10400]murtaza[/MENTION] pointed out yesterday Telenor's data counter is an effin fraud. I loaded 100 rups credit (just to see Telenor's speed) got a confirmation for it and they gave me 20mb 4g Internet free. I ran a speedtest which only used 11mb for upload and download and I got message saying no more mbs left. Then I tried subscribing to a cheap ass bundle for 35 rups. I get a message saying I don't have credit to buy this bundle. Fu^^k yea i do have enough credit. Then I get a message saying I got 750mbs free. Then a message saying I have used 90% of the 750mbs like a second later. I dial *999# and It says I have 0mbs. I don't know how the data counter runs to 0 if one isn't even using Internet. So then I loaded a 15 rups package giving me 75 mbs. Inside house I got like 1 Mbps download at most and outside in the open it was 9.68 mbps at most.
I have never seen a usage/data counter
do such shenanigans, it is unbelievable. Maybe Telenor should fix this before it even thinks about promoting it's 4g. I got so pissed off. IF anyone wants to stay SANE stay away from Telenor, if using Telenor staying sane is at your own discretion.

I'm using Telenor 4G as a hotspot right now, I have a 1.5GB bundle subscribed and I'm using PG and YouTube. The YT connection speed shows 1 Mbps, browsing is slower than dial-up, and a message comes saying 'Ap standard rate par internet istemaal kar rahay hain'. WHAT?
How did I go through 1.5GB in 10 minutes with browsing and this pathetic internet struggling to load a 360p video?
Background data is restricted, all Play Store apps were updated this morning using WiFi.
As for the PC I'm using the hotspot on, same goes for that. No updates available. And even if they were, Telenor is so painfully slow, it would be impossible to go through 1.5GB in 10 mins. One can always check the speed at which data is being transferred through Task manager, and even that showed 1.8 Mbps or something, don't remember exactly.
That's exactly what I'm talking about, Telenor is full of shit. 360p youtube on their tezz tareen 4g! Talk about mockery.

Maybe I need to get a bit more educated before I begin to understand Telenor's messages as the neurons in my brain have stopped responding after reading them! -pun intended.
Telenor's servers are on diarrhea mode- message after message. ;-) Where did the 1.5gbs go and the 750 mbs go in a jhatka?
You became un-lazy fairly quick earlier before i could even get a chance to respond. I got a bit distracted with a Telenor's 4g add on TV to which I hurled a fair bit of abuse.
If our country's second largest mobile network is full of such utter stupidity what hope do we have? -Food for thought.

The service is lousy and all over the place which ruins the experience. I get good speeds on Telenor and browsing/ youtube is fine not great but the tradeoff is a very tired brain even after 5 mins of usage because of the bombardment of mixed, confusing, evil messages which leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
