Dont know when this merger gonna cause currently both warid n mobilink are facing serious signal issues.
I have noticed signal issues with Warid.
Mobilink is fine.

Warid is also taking strangely long to 'connect' a call. From the moment you hit the dial button on your phone, there's a wait of quite a few seconds where it's silent and then it starts ringing. Mobilink doesn't do that.

I've also noticed texts sometimes take really long to send. And I don't send long texts, because I have WhatsApp for that.

Hoping the merger brings them back to normal.

Something is up with Warid. I called up a family member on Warid while they were on Murree Road (in the open, not a shop) and the voice would break constantly.

I also tried calling them in Centaurus again, and then the same thing.

Also, Waird's voice clarity was totally shot yesterday, in addition to signal issues, so that's that...

They can't use the 1800 band for GSM until they've merged with Mobi, so they're relying heavily on 900 MHz, which is extremely overcrowded. Voice calls = shit and SMS = slow.

Anyone using zong tell me if I recharge Rs2000 in the MBB sim, its balance will be Rs1500, so can I subscribe to zong 4G Rs2000 package (50GB) or I have to recharge Rs2700 for Rs2000 package?

yeah!
dont worry about tax being cut. Just a word of caution. always kep 5-10 rs extra. otherwise u may not recieve usage sms (personal experience )

also . ALWAYS switch off the device when u are about to renew the package. cz frst they deactivate old package, after deactivation, its on base rate and any one connected to wifi wd blow away ur 2000 in 10 minutes!

What was your location when you performed the network search? It looks interesting.
Hi guys .. I was manually searching the network and a new 4G network is coming .. is it Telenor 4G most probably?

Now that's interesting... I couldn't find a (if that's Telenor) 4G signal in Blue Area today when I read your post.

Let's see what happens, now that PTA has actually given Telenor the actual license.

Thats because its telenor sim dude

Exactly, so if the ++ sign is showing on that network, it probably is Telenor and has been named differently so that devices don't connect to it.

Similar thing happened when operators were testing 3G/4G in 2014.
