I read earlier pages of this thread and the obvious polling on the top [emoji14] Waisay which one would you suggest?
The poll was conducted before Jazz even had 4G, so everyone had voted for Zong at the time. People's opinions of Zong have changed a lot since then.

I honestly haven't used 3G very extensively recently so I don't know who's better out of Jazz and Zong, but I'd go with Jazz, they're using 900 and 2100 MHz for 3G and whenever you do end up getting a 4G phone, you'll really appreciate their 4G.

Have you used the supercard 3G?
No, I ran away from Ufone in 2013.

Also my answer.

The 900Mhz will help you get better indoor 3G penetration. Don't expect speeds beyond 1.2MB/s even on 2100Mhz - looks like they've allocated more bandwidth to 4G. And wherever you get a 4G signal, however weak, you'll be alright with their performance.

Zong has upgraded their network, yes, but until they (and Telenor and perhaps Ufone as well) don't fix their signal interferences, their data will not be as good as Mobilink's in ~mediocre areas.

Case in point: I work in Blue Area, near the top floors of our building. Mobilink, from my seat, easily gives me 15Mbps on 4G (you know how buildings are a tough nut to crack), but Zong doesn't go beyond 6Mbps, at best. And we're talking about -92 - -97 dBm (Mobilink is weaker) signal levels - but Zong's noise levels are higher (ergo, weaker performance).

Calls: all except Telenor (can't speak for Ufone) are equal. Telenor has a lot of distortions and digital noises in their calls for some unknown reason. Since all operators tend to fall back to 2G depending on the signal (even if you're standing below the tower - I have no idea why though), Mobilink and Zong will let you continue the call on 2G without garbling much. Telenor? Forget it. But since Mobilink introduced 3G on 900Mhz, you get signals in the basements and all - which is a blessing. Zong doesn't use this frequency for 3G or 4G. Ufone uses it for 3G, and Telenor has 850Mhz... But stay away from the latter two, for different reasons.

Tl;Dr? You liar. You've read it all. First preference is Mobilink. If not, Zong.

I also happen to work in Blue Area and from the room I sit I think I'm getting speeds of -100kbps. I have a better chance of loading SC feed without any internet than with Ufone 3g. I'll go with Mobilink then, will go for the network shift tomorrow IA.

Btw is there any way to check the signal strength in an area of a specific network without having the sim of the said network? Everyone I know has Ufone so I dont wanna end up getting a mobilink sim and then realizing I dont get reception in my room. Im on the ground floor so it shouldnt be a problem but still I wanna be sure before I get stuck with a network for 90 days at a minimum.

There are network apps available on the app stores - for Android, you can use Network Signal Guru (needs root) or Network Cell Info.

Open the app. Keep it running. It'll show you the signal levels.

Now in your phone, perform a network search and select another operator. The phone will eventually say it can't connect to the other operator, but meanwhile, the app would show you the signal strength of the non-connecting operator... In 95% of the cases... Unless the signal is very weak.

This is how I check.

Zong's revenue is just 12 billion more than Ufone who still getting 54 billion from its users. Still Zong is investing heavily and Ufone is sleeping after taking Chars

How to run a business 101.

Ufone's motives were to bring costs down in the company and make it a revenue-generating concern (that's the focus of the new CEO who came sometime back).

Zong's focus is to undercut competition and spread itself like Chinese goods (i.e. flood the market).

Two different companies, two different strategies. Also, the ARPU for Ufone should be checked with Zong's - and so should the income statement (for profit). See which company is recycling it's funds for investments (operating expenses) and which company is not utilizing that income.

Oh look, the financial analyst in me just woke up! Hello!

great, i get around 40mbps up/down which is quiet enough me, i dunno at my side is it 15 or 10 mhz,
but i think it is 15mhz because i saw the advertisement of 15mhz 4g everywhere,

and since zong has the sweetest package now, 2500 men 75gb plus 100 gb night time, but they cant go above 1-2 mbps here i dunno what's wrong with them

Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
