Okay, now that @zafarabbasrizvi has essentially proved what I was trying to say (that Mhz won't make a big difference when your signal quality isn't great - and it won't make a difference around 80% of the time), which network would be the best?

Consider pricing, reliability, coverage within the city and on highways, and voice quality as well as the performance of 2G data (because let's face it, 4G isn't widespread, and 3G drops signals)... and the amount of complaints that exist (and the propensity to resolve those complaints as well) when deciding.

(nope, I'm not changing my network unless I get bumped off the employee package, despite the numerous shortcomings).

zong is pretty good with their stable speeds and decent coverage!

Jazz 3g peak times, not so impressive, but will do, i have activated 75gb package, and 15mhz 4g is coming on 25th oct [emoji16]

mobilink did real good by upgrading dongle packages, now their will be tough competition between jazz and zong, the latter was acting quiet monopolistic,
and all the BIS woes are gone too, cuz my usage was around 80gigs on BIS, so 75 is serving me well, plus the data is not vanishing like on zong's 3g/4g

my cousin told me who works in local jazz franchise, let see!!!
and yeah jazz have put up banners touting fastest 4g all over the city so it is logical that the launch is nearing, only zong 4g used to work here, which is still pretty decent but jazz will introduce tough competition!

Jazz will only be good enough if they fix their routing as well , gaming online is pathetic on Jazz.

I had a ZONG 4G device since June amd the speeds were pretty good. But somehow the speed dropped from 20mbps to 1mbps or even lower. Zong only offers 10mbps or higher late night like 4 to 5 am. I have decided to remove this shitty device.

Why to remove device? Get it unlock from market and insert Jazz 4G data sim with 75 GB package in 2,500 PKR.

Early Morning 4G speed tests.

Jazz 15 MHz 4G



Zong 15 MHz 4G



Telenor 5 MHz 4G




Zong is still a speed king in terms of download speed but Jazz provides better uploading as compare to Zong. Overall both networks are great and competitive. While Telenor is still providing 3G level speed on 4G.

Try changing the location of your dongle - the signals are probably getting distorted.

who does online gaming over wireless anyway? it is super unstable the latency keeps jumping around, or it isnt the case ?

Bhai most of the users are doing gaming on Zong which is working good.
I have used Telenor for gaming and their routing is perfect , stable latency of 70ms on Middle East servers and no packet loss.

Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
