I don't think there will actually be a ps5 version due to backward compatibility. Though, they probably will sell a remaster update that may also get rebranded as a physical release for ps5.
I would like to belive that Sony is not THAT greedy and would offer PS5 enhancements for PS4 games similar to what X does for 360 games like the original RDR. This might be a little too far fetched but Microsoft has been making some pretty great moves for the past couple of years and that should give Sony second thoughts before trying exploit their position as a market leader.

Nothing official so i won't keep my hopes high
There was official confirmation. They just said they're not yet sure if they can guarantee "complete compatibility", which means that maybe 5-10% of the games won't be compatible at launch. I wouldn't expect any of Sony's own games to be incompatible.

Speaking to Famitsu, and translated by Japanese journalist @bk2128, a representative from Sony Interactive Entertainment's Public Relations unit stated that the PS5 "dev team is putting all power on verifying whether they can secure a complete compatibility. Please wait for more information."

We're presuming that "complete compatibility" simply means support for every single PS4 game across physical and digital media, as opposed to - for example - the Xbox One's backwards compatibility programme, which has a limited (but ever increasing) library of Xbox 360 titles that can be enjoyed on Microsoft's console.

Meanwhile, some studios themselves proudly proclaim crunch despite earlier promises to not:

Yesterday, Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red announced that it was delaying the much-anticipated role-playing game from April 16 to September 17. During a Q&A with investors last night in Poland, where the company is based, co-CEO Adam Kiciński took a question about overtime in the wake of this delay. Here’s how that went:

P6: And is the development team required to put in crunch hours?

AK: To some degree, yes – to be honest.
This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, even after the studio’s promises to Kotaku last year that it would do its best to mitigate overtime

They were asked and they shared unfortunate reality of AAA games development. Unlike the management at ND who doesn't have the balls to tackle these questions.

COGconnected contacted Maximov multiple times for this news story but never received a response.*
Naughty Pussies more like.

But they did, if not in such direct words under pressure from an investor :laugh1:

https://blog.us.playstation.com/2019/10/24/the-last-of-us-part-ii-comes-to-ps4-in-may/

At this point we were faced with two options: compromise parts of the game or get more time. We went with the latter, and this new release date allows us to finish everything to our level of satisfaction while also reducing stress on the team.

At the very least they are going in the right direction:

It's not to say that crunch won't happen in these games because of the timeline adjustment, but Druckmann's statement about "reducing stress on the team" is an indication that Naughty Dog wants to move away from the terrors of crunch culture

Reducing workers stress versus giving your employees depression, bad backs and hemorrhoids while bullying them :laugh1:

And crunch will hit current project hard. Because spreadsheet planning + incompetent overseers = hemorrhoids, bad back and depression."

Another review says bullying is a problem in the workplace, while others describe a "culture of blame" and an "extremely politicized work environment" where personal ties matter more than competence or qualifications.

Truckman: "We are trying to reduce their stress"

“But you have to get your work done. And the amount of work is just impossible for any person. It is just way too much. And if you don’t hit the goals you will be fired. So I guess you don’t have much of a choice.”
By firing them :laugh1:

ND's reason to delay game "To reduce stress on team and avoid crunch culture".

CD's reason to delay game "To get out of FF7's way and incur more publicly acknowledged crunch on team".

And yet people will still defend it :laugh1:

Word at Naughty Dog, get sexually harassed, get fired for not putting in crunch hours.

No crunch, no stress. Only sexual harassment.

Truckman: "We are trying" :laugh1:

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
