region help

i need to buy xbox 360 elite 120gb
but problem is i am so confused about regions
there
are three regions
us ntsc
pal
and region free asia
i usually want to download games from internet and play on xbox i see usualy games are of pal format on xbox60iso
but in pakistan market games are available in region fre
is ntsc and pal will play on region free console
pelase explain me

You can go online with this account. Sign into your tarzan profile the go into the profile section (second one besides the disc bar) and select join live.

Get the slim! Its much better than the arcade.. Stronger, more capacity, builtin Wifi..

Does that even matter? We all know that the jaspers are perfectly safe but we don't know squat about the reliability of the new models, Besides If you can get a cheap jasper and have basically the same gaming experience then why not? What difference is the new one gonna make, Sure it looks good but the main reason you buy a 360 is to play games which is all the same either way.

i waant to play games only... aracde has LAN.. if i need net conection I can get a wire to xbox... no problem for networking.. i can't arrange so much money for xbox... i'm not not pro player.. I want only good gameplay with less or no problems... Thats y i'm getting xbox aracde... and gradually I will upgrade it... Sooner or later I will get Xbox Slim too...

If your that patient after buying, then I guess you should go with the Arcade.. (JASPER ofcourse).. and get a separate 20-60GB HDD..

No. Every drive is hackable. to play pirated games.

Yeah you can easily buy Pal games written of DVD-R nowadays. And I think last time I visited market(last week), Arcade Jasper's price was Rs 19,000 now. How low do you want it to go.

Yeah. There are still chances of getting ban while using original game on modded 360....... And I think the member ship will cost you around Rs 12K for 13 Months.

Precautions for minimizing the chances to get banned:
Get the latest firmware i.e. Lite Touch 1.1
Play online just not in the seasons of most anticipated games like Halo Reach or Medal of Honor.. thats the time when most people get banned..
Keep a low profile on live and dont tell anyone you have a modded console on live

I think you need to stealth patch the disk to play onlne safely.You can use ABGX software to do so.

ive just bought 2010 made in malaysia xbox 360 arcade pal, but im unable to play ntsc games only playing golden disc and dvdr disc tell me how i can find tht my x360 is modified or not?
