So i just got my New Xbox 360 Arcade from Bestbuy in Canada which costed me $200. (Happy me!! =D)
Didn't get any free games with it though. Now i just need some suggestions that should i get my New 360 Modded or not? It's the NTSC-UC Region.
I can't offord Original games but on the other hand i'm scared that what if i get banned from Xbox live again. So a little help would be appreciated. And btw i would burn my own games by downloading them cuz NTSC-UC games arent available in the market much and secondly i would stealth patch all the games myself.
And lastly if i do want to get my 360 modded so should i get it updated to ix 1.61 or should i wait for Lite-touch?

Ruined two of my dvds and didnt work onwards, so in my experience is sucks...
IMO there is no future for live for modded 360's it would be better to get non stealth firmware which would save you the hassle of upgrading your drive's firmware in the future...
Wait for LT ! Till then play any original game if you've got !

Hmm so i guess i should wait for LT and till that loan a game from a friend for some days if i can. =)
Oh and one more question that i have still got that old 20gb HDD of my banned Falcon console. So if i connect it to my new console will i loose all my saved games or not?

^ Yes you will, but it think mosses can save your save data by uncorrupting your profile so try asking him...
sorry dude ...i dont know what was i thinking replying to the above question ...yes profile get corrupted and you have to recover it from live...but this is not the scene in every banning case in early banning even hdd functionalities like game installing etc were not effected...
Well i was among the one's who were banned early but i did loose my HDD install feature. So is there a way to recover all the save games or something?

guys i have JUMPED IN got my 360. I want to ask 2 questions.
1st. Can activation.iso be burned on Dvd - R not dual layer ? Because i dont have dual layer dvd right now and i am dying to play any game.
2nd. I am using my lcd monitor to play 360 so there is no sound. Is there any way i can use my creative t6100 with it ? Or any headphones which are easily available in karachi ?

Thanks for the links bro. Just one last question that after i connect my HDD to my new unbanned console the "HDD install Feature" will be back right?
Keep in mind that the best lcd for games are ones for which response time <3ms.... Samsung response time 5 ms is good for movies but not games imo, buy and research lcd with response time <3ms for high quality video otherwise the gaming experience would be jerky at best......
For games IMO:
Viewsonic 24" VX2433wm 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio - 23000
Hp23" 2309m (With company warranty card) - 23400
some say viewsonic and hp not good monitors but that is only a lame comment, they are the best i think: value for money and performance.
