3)- If it's your first time (which it probably is since this is the first meetup), you HAVE to fight
4)- This is a fighting game oriented meetup. Everyone's invited, but please don't Abuses will lead to ban and moan if no one plays Halo or DDR with you

the idea in itself is great ... perhaps pg could host a gaming tournament there for sfIV and tekken .. ofcourse the place would have to be booked but considering pgs huge user base, it's high time pg started organizing some serious gaming events ... charge an entry fee or something and have a cash prize for the winner as well ... sponsors shouldnt be much of a problem ..

yeah i agree ... but for now, i somehow think that regular meets do just fine! plus, there has to be a full proof setting for such an event ... you know, real professional! xD

Now you are talking according to my taste...Yes it will be nice to organize an event at Elietic Ind....arghh, the name is quite hard(Similar to Physics ) ..I have not personally visited that arena but heard about it from some of my friends. So what's the sitting situation there and any idea how many PCs and LCDs are available???

Yup, I figured we should keep everyone happy by adding Tekken 6. We'll add Blazblue:CS when it gets released as well.

They've got 2 PS3s and about 16 X360s. No PCs, just gaming consoles. Each console is rigged up to a 22 inch LCD. It's an awesome setup. Instead of everyone huddling around one TV and stuff, we can rent out the PS3s and an X360 or two and have them run different games, thus keeping both the Street Fighter and Tekken players happy. Plus they have UPSs and a generator.

@Roark:

Although a full-blown gaming tourney is a good idea, this is just a casual meetup. If the response is good, and if it works out, I'll surely think about it.

@omyakh;

We can play some other games once we get bored, sure no problem. Or we could school you on the pleasures of one on one fighting games

I still need to know though; what day suits people more? And time?

I think Sunday, between 4 and 7 would be perfect.

Thats interesting ,so no more crowding thingy....I'll gather some more players and direct them towards this thread so that we can make this hang out a successful one. And as fas as gaming thing is concerned, I think mostly people will play Tekken, SF4 or Fifa. I don't thing other than these, any other game can make up to the LCD . And yeah a change in between car racing and FPS can also fresh the environment.

@Timing and Day: I prefer Saturday 8 to 12 and on Sunday your timing is perfect

Just for now make it a simple meet up. I think its too early to organize a big tourney.

Eclectic Vibrations is in DHA. Do you know where the DHA Cinema is? There's a Subway near it (on the double road leading from the round-about to the cinema). It's right above it. They have a board up and stuff, it's hard to miss.
