[TECH HELP] y isnt my 1080p monitor as good as my LCD display

hey guys, can u help me figure out y isnt my dell st2410 connected via dvi to my pc, asus 7200gs 256mb graphic card
playing videos and image over it are of no comparison to the display i get on my LED display TV when i play the same file

can u guys help me figure out what am i doing wrong ?
cx i burrowed the card from a friend and if this shit doesnt work to im gona giv it back to him
