Suggestions regarding Buying a PSP!!!

Well people tomorrow is the big day......i m gonna buy a PSP slim
so any last minutes suggestions or precautions or any sort of information that can come in handy during the purchase will be welcomed........
Especially firmware and memorystick issues..........or any thing that i should be aware of

hmm, if you get the fat PSP dont be afraid to buy that one instead if you manage to save money ... with third party hacks you can unlock 333mhz and do all that shit on the fat PSP too ..

noo i would highly suggest the psp slim u are giving 1-2k more but def worth the cost.... little less loading times plus lighter ( high difference ) and the higher cpu clock

buy this console psp slim and lite its is the latest model of psp and abt firmware buy with 4.0 m33 firmware and just download game and play with memory stick
and if u buy card buy 4 gb or 8 gb its cheap instead 1 or 2 gb

and im also buy this console from uk .

Just make sure the shopkeeper doesnt sell you an over-priced mem stick.
Almost all mem sticks here are fake.

4GB = not more than 1800 Rs
I got mine for 1500.

MANI! The clock rate is the same for both the PSPs
Its just the firmware and games that unlock it.

hmm yeah running thru memory sticks do remove loading times but still slim would be faster soo same thing... i tried it with my both psp's

Loading times of slim PSP are less than original PSP as it has twice the amount of ram (does not effect gameplay).

Slim PSP can be used with TV.:tv:

Some new services like skype are only for slim version.

UMD loading tray of slim is a lot worse than that of the original, but is anybody going to use it?:wink2:

However even if there was no such diffrence I would still recommend slim PSP as it is very light and slim in comparison. You have to hold both versions in your hands to know the diffrence. I almost sold my original PSP to buy the slim version.

I want to buy new PSP SLIM, i need to clear some points before i buy it

* I just saw on Youtube that PSP can emulate Playstation one as well as consoles. But some models can't. I wanna buy a model which can support all emulators or can be modified easily.

* PSP need new firmware softwares for latest updates, are these firmwares comes with new PSP or i have to upgrade it myself.

* What are pandora battery and their benefit.

* What extra comes with PSP as i know you need UMD even playing ISO games and UMD cost at least 1100. (I can get used one)

* I live in Rawalpindi, year ago price of PSP was 12000 in RWP/ISL. Any body from Rawalpindi/Islambad can guide which is best shop for buying PSP,

1.) Commercial Market Rawalpindi (T2 has very big collection of PSP games)
2.) Bara Market Rawalpindi (Cheap but don't trust them)
3.) Super Market Islamabad (Famous Toys are very good dealers and trustable but could be expensive)

* How long a can play on single charge.

* How big Memory Stick it can support, as 8 GB cards are available now.

I just surfed the market and PSP Fat is available for 11000 with 32 mb card (What 32mb will do for me), headphones, Demo UMD, charger and a nice zipped cloth cover and custom Firmware already installed.

Price of PSP Slim is 13000 and it just come with a charger as mentioned by some one from Lahore (I am from Rawalpindi and got rates from imperial as well as Commercial market).

Also many shopkeeper told me that running emulators like mame, neogeo and cps causes problems in Slim but works cool in old Fat PSP. Slim is no doubt better then Fat for many reasons but here people can't handle it with hacks.

So please guide me on this matter as for me Fat is 2000 less with more assessories and better compatability, what loss can i get with a bit heavier and not so bright PSP FAT.

Guide me, maybe i am thinking wrong.

psp slim.............its a lil bit faster amd lite
nd there is no problem in runnin hacks on the slim
if u wanna save money then go for the fat............not a huge difference btw the 2
