Suggest me a good wireless broadband service please!!!

Assalamoalaikum everyone,






I wish to get rid of line based broadband and shift to wireless broadband. Please inform me which wireless broadband should I switch to? I wish to have a stable wireless broadband service (with strong signal most of the time) with good customer service able to solve should any problems arise as soon as possible. I need the broadband for download and gaming. I am a heavy downloader and I would wish that the service should be unlimited or virtually unlimited for downloads. Kindly suggest me a wireless service which is as close to performance to line based broadband as possible. Also for your information I live in Karachi. Please help!!!

Wireless internet is not the perfect choice here in pakistan as you will get fluctuating speeds and high ping. If wired internet is not working for you, then ptcl EVO is the best option. It is cheaper and offers greater speed than all other shitty ISPs with their capped packages (qubee, witribe, wateen). Get the PTCL evo nitro usb or wifi cloud but first check the signals in your area by testing the device from a friend/relative.

Thank you brothers for your guidance. Actually even when I posted this thread my internet was not working correctly and then I went offline. So now I am online again. Actually the poles in my area are not good and that is the reason that I wish to have wireless internet. I live about 1.5 to 2 kilometers away from the PTCL exchange. As most of you say that PTCL EVO is the best option kindly inform me which EVO should I go for? Also is it well for downloading and is the download is unlimited? One thing I come to know that port forwarding is not possible in EVO. Any other cons releated to EVO? If so kindly let me know. I have four desktops for which I would have to buy a USB I think. Two laptops which already are wifi and one ipod touch which is too wifi. So kindly inform me which EVO would suit me. Sorry brothers I asked too many questions but I need to know the information to make a decision. I hope you would give me proper guidance. Thanks and my best regards. (bow)

Speed is good upto 300kb/s and unlimited for 1k if you are able to get the student package.

If you want to connect multiple computers you have a few options:

- Buy one regular evo USB device and a 3G router to share access via wifi/wired ethernet among multiple computers
- Buy something called evo nitro which allows you to connect multiple computers/devices via WIFI
- Buy the USB wingle that PTCL recently introduced.

Also someone on the forum mentioned that unlimited packages have a limit of 100GB/month. Don't know whether that is true or not. Maybe you can call PTCL's call centre and ask them?
