what is done is done, leave it and concentrate what you have to do,who said to you that if you wanna do medical,go for matric? this thing comes when you reach college level and for which i would advise you to do simply do fsc if you wanna stay in Pak,however, what do you actually mean by tips? there are NO shortcuts to get good grades, study hard and get good grades, every thing in life which has some worth will require some effort to be achieved, you have similar case to me but i was then in a levels but i had other problems too.join a good tuition,go to school if you can, otherwise,do it privately and then join some college.remember, its grades which matters in the end.feel free to ask and are you appearing in this may/june session? believe me, o level nowadays is piece of cake,it is getting easier and easier year by year and same goes to fsc... YOU CAN DO IT bro, just don't loose hope,do past papers, rate your self, get good grades in exams/monthly tests even if they are taken by your tuition. When i was in a level,we 5-6 friends went to tuition center and skipped college classes 2-3 days a week and one of our friend just studied in college and then at home nothing else! in a level, there's a myth that one who don't take tuition can't get good grades which's true to some extent because teachers of a level are just after money, they take classes in 2-3 school a day and then go to tuition centers, when result came, our friend who just stutied at home got all A*s and none of us friends got even A i think.if you are appearing in November, then you have plenty of time left, how many subjects have you given till now and how many you are planning to give in this session? believe me,life does not end here, even if i who was just average student, can get 72.55% in o level which is A grade in matric, why can't you? i had MUCH problems when i was in school and i mean real problems.

what if u do nine and matric as well as o'levels ? because trust me,if u want to get admission in paksitani uni,it is not wise to do O&A levels but then again, the things u learn in O&A levels is not something u wud in nine and matric

What the hell

DO YOUR O/A LEVELS!

Cambridge Education is everything you need.

better university prospects and better education further ahead.

Plus that O/A levels prepares you for a lot of stuff matriculation wont.

DO NOT LISTEN to any crap./

Stick with O Levels.

Give it everything you have.

Do it once, do it right and you won't regret it.

Don't make any stupid decisions and jump around like this.

First of all you need to understand that the difference between the Cambridge system and matriculation is huge. You will get a better education through the Cambridge system.
Secondly it is true that the students from inter have en edge over the students from A levels but that edge is only limited to a few government universities. Private universities treat both students as equals. Also that edge is only very limited now and a level playing ground is being achieved every year.
As you're a private student best tip anyone can give you right now is recommend you a good teacher that you can study from through tuitions. So list down the subjects you're giving and people from your city can maybe recommend teachers.

1) Do the O-level, get tuition/academy if you must. Study the subjects, do >5 years past papers and you're straight A*= 90% in matric. Just don't slack or keep rethinking your decision; else you'll get no where.
2) There is no problem with co-ed. Every one there is a student there, with same goal. Just don't forget your goal.
3) Do either FSc or A-level after O-level if you want. But right now go for O-level.
4) When applying to Medical colleges, what matters the most is your grades/score in FSc/A-level and Entrance Test. With FSc, you start a new and your grades in O-level do not matter. But if you do A-levels, your grades in O-level will matter.
5) Don't worry and calm down. Its just O-level. Its not the end of the world or a guarantee against success. If there still is some confusion, let me know.

I dont know about matric so I cant comment on it. In O level you need to have really good teachers. Those who can explain the whole concept in a way that you actually understand it rather than memorizing it. A lot of teachers will give you their notes to memorize, but I believe thats not a good strategy. Find out about some good teachers and join them at tuitions. But don't give up school. At school your personality would develop. And I think most Universities now require standardised tests such as the SATs on top of your O/A level grades. Rest, its your choice, go for what you think suits you best.
