so nayatel is fixed now with dubai routing and played 2 matches in about 20 minutes of searching as i posted before you cant find matches becauses atleast in my case the game tries to connect you with people in local vacinity both matches i played were withuae people and as per my knowledge ptcl routing to uae sucks baals for my personal reference dota 2 dubai servers ip is the one i use for middle east routing if thats fixed or below 100 ull get matches in sf5 and you will connect to dedicated servers in blops

if you somehow get this to under 100 by ur isp i can guarantee you you will be paired with people with uae dubai behrain etc in sf5 matchmaking hope this helps

PTCL acting up somehow tonight so can't check the ping right now, but I was getting an average of <100 ms ping on the server you listed above at my work connection (2 MB). I am on 182.184.xxx.xxx PTCL IP in case anyone is curious and my location is a small rural city called Sanghar.

I use Connect but I've had around 50 ms to the server you just linked since always. Yet I still couldn't get a match. Suddenly though, I started getting matches 2 hours ago, had around 7 matches which is certainly a step up from 0.

Happened around the same time a lot of people started complaining of server disconnects and the server was indeed being wonky.

Hopefully they'll have these issues sorted out by the weekend, but I'm starting to lose hope in Capcom (whatever little I had to begin with)

Capcom is seriously pissing me off!

I can't even connect to one game and the server keeps getting disconnected. There is almost nothing to do offline.

I'm using Nayatel and still no connection. Is everyone else having the same problem?

Played more than dozen matches online today with CT. Enjoyed a lot. We were getting 4 to full 5 bars and we played with battle lounge, which are working fine now.

Frame rate can drop and the net code is far from perfect but overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

i dont get that much time these days but i played a couple matches just now got all 3 of them in under 5 minutes of search each which is long as hell but still better than nothing i guess

one thing i dont understand is if matchmaking is going to put me against 1 guy 3 times in a goddamn row and that guy had 8k rating whereas i had 25k why not give us an option of best of 3 or best of 5 or hell a rematch button instead of making us wait again
and also if a guy who has 12k more rating than me and defeats me he gets 66ish lp twice, then if some by miracle if somehow i beat him i get 62 what the hell is this am i missing something?

Judging from the posts here and my personal experience, it does seem like the game tries to connect you to nearby people. That must be why all my friends abroad are getting matches instantly while I've been in a queue for over 15 minutes now. This sucks, SF4 let you queue in an entire region of your choosing. Really hope they fix this or the only way we'll be able to play this game online is via battle lounges...

Okay, battle lounges are working quite good. Matches from PS4 and PC players both. Whenever the connection is good, the match plays smoothly. About 70% connect rate.

i played like 8 9 ranks today whenever i had time all butter smooth dont know why u guys cant find matches it takes time like 4 5 minutes but its good fun can or maybe will stream aswell btw dastidood give me a message around 11 tonight me and you will play lounges

The matchmaking's been pretty much fixed for me. Got so many matches, I got to Super Bronze league Had a 15 win streak in Ranked at one point.

Well, the time goes up and down. Sometimes 30 seconds, sometimes a few minutes. Never longer than 6-7 minutes though.

Whoa, that's weird. Are you on a VPN or something? Is the ingame map showing you as located in Pakistan? And what are the flags of the people who you get matched with?

No VPN. It's showing me in Pakistan. It's mostly people from the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Occasionally, I get a Singaporean and a few countries which I shamefully admit I don't recognize.

ill say it again this matchmaking is weird as hell im like 90k ranked now and played 4x matches against a 20k ranked from uae i mean agar baar baar mein nay usi kay sath khelna hee hai then where is the restart button instead of passing through 20 loading screens and alot of wait time

Ok so matchmaking is 100% region based. That really sucks because this means we're stuck playing against people in the UAE and some other random Asians and there will be a high possibility of facing the same person over and over, like what is happening to jibrangulabbasi. I REALLY hope Capcom implements an option to be able to queue in any territory we want. I always set my territory to EU in SF4 and never had an issue getting lots of opponents with good ping.

It's odd though since I played on battle lounge with someone from France and a guy from UK. It showed 3 bars but the connection was smooth, honestly would never have been able to tell there was such a large gap between us.

yeah i played a french guy in the morning and was like wtf but the match was extremely smooth i even added the guy after the match and asked him where hes from and he said france and it was smooth for him too i wonder why arent we consistently matched with them if its smooth, btw is the game p2p or there are some dedicated servers for matches?
