Apologies in advance, I havent read the whole thread.

Stormfiber will be available in my area (NGT,Lahore) first week of Sept and I plan on ordering it. Apart from TW routing issue, is there any other cons I need to consider? Especially uptime?

I've been using it for 3 months in NGT. Service is good.

I'm on the other side of barkat market, hence the wait. Can you tell me how long do you monitor(use) your connection daily and has there been any significant downtimes?

220-250 ms to EU still. No reply. No updates. Stormfiber becoming just another GPON from the looks of it.

At least no packet loss/dc issues yet ! I shouldn't have said that :< I always jinx it!

This is based on the wifi reception of my desktop pc which is on the first floor and at least 30 meters away from the Storm Fiber Wifi hub.

Well i am not home 9 to 7 on weekdays due to work, i have seen some minute which last a few seconds. For me the performance is great considering i was paying 9000 for a 12Mbps ptcl connection, which started giving me 6Mbps speed in the last few months and despite constantly telling them to rectify the problem it persisted. I have been overall happy with the switch. I haven't gamed on the connection much, my brother plays a lot of DoTa 2 and he was happy with the improvement.

So they upgraded to 10mb for 2k.

Torrenting has been working excellent for me ever since day 1 on stormfiber.
Even on the 10mb upgrade I get 1.1mb constant download speed on IPT.

Anyone from Askari Apartments 1, 2 & 3 near Karachi Cantt. have information about Stormfiber installation? Apparently their sales rep told me that the Administration of Askari has not yet allowed them to install their device through which they can provide the connections, though they have the coverage in this area.
