PC StarCraft II: Starter Edition

We’ve replaced the previously available StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty demo with the recently launched StarCraft II: Starter Edition. StarCraft II: Starter Edition allows anyone to play the following content for free (all you need is a Battle.net account and Internet connection):

The first four missions of the StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty single-player campaign, including Mar Sara 1-3 and the choice to embark on Tychus’s first mission or Dr. Hansen’s first mission.
The first two Challenges: Tactical Command and Covert Ops.
Access to the terran race in Custom Games and Single-Player vs. AI.
Access to the following custom maps (map selection may rotate over time):


Xel’Naga Caverns
Shattered Temple
Discord IV
High Orbit

Any campaign progress and achievements you earn while playing StarCraft II: Starter Edition are automatically saved to your Battle.net account, and will carry over should you ever upgrade from the Starter Edition to the full version of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.

Basically you can play the Terran Race in Multiplayer Custom Games on a few selected Maps

Blizzard made WoW F2P too up to level 20 i.e infinite free trial removing the need of guest passes, and I think they might just make the game free up to level 60 either in the near future or at the launch of the next expansion pack, many games which used to cost money are now going F2P too, champions online, LOTRO, WoW and recently HoN.

Blizzard lost more subscribers this quarter so I think they might go F2P like TF2 did and gain back a new population

Blizard lost subcribers because of not relasing enough new content via patch updates. Lets face it, their A team is working on other stuff.

What they need to do is announce the development of Warcraft4 (sm1)

i think after they r done with SC2 Legacy of the Void WC4 is gonna be the next title as they did let it slip that it will have the same 1 Campaign / Game like SC2

The easiest way to get Retail is to buy the Digital Version from eu.battle.net

most Pakistani CC and Debit Cards work on Blizzard u just need to make an account

be sure to buy the "EU" Version which costs 60Euros as the US version will give a lot of high ping even though its cheaper @60Dollars

Yea that's my last option because you have to download the game which is painful on ptcl unless it was like a torrent file

^ Blizzard has its own Torrent Service for downloading man

u can also use the setup u got from anyother torrent websites provided u dont apply the crack
