[SOLVED] Stablizer or those 5k UPS

Anyone uses them? I don't get how can UPS be so cheap. How long do they last? Do I need a stabilizer as well?

I'm planning to own a desktop and thats why I'm asking. In-case of 'voltage dropping', I never experienced where I live and when it does occur, it happens like once a year. I usually shut everything down when it occurs as the power becomes on phase.

Are these really UPS?? Why are they cheap compared to regular where unit cost like 19K + battery like 10k

UPS are of little to No importance at all. This UPS would probably give you hardly a few seconds of backup, perhaps not even enough to shut down your PC. I would still suggest that you buy a decent voltage stabilizer. Now-a-days all PSU's have built in protection from sudden power loss. However one should protect them from sudden OVER VOLTAGE. This is where stabilizers come in handy. Otherwise I would personally not prefer buying a UPS for pc.

Ok, so buying those 350W UPS offer no value? Not even time to shut down? How much do good stabilizers cost? I don't think we ever experienced over voltage.

Because if I'm understanding correctly, it would be like things frying up from AC to light bulb. Plus there is breaker to protect PLUS street transformers which trip.
