Evening everyone

I'm low on posting activity on PG but I'm a regular visitor. It's been 4 years since I bought my first LCD TV, which was a 32" HD Ready Sony Bravia. Most of the gaming this gen was either 720p or below, so Full HD wasn't really a selling point for me.

The initial batch of 3D displays didn't attract me either due to crosstalk, dimness & eye stain due to long term use.

I believe now is the right time to buy a new top of the line TV and I've always been a SONY enthusiast when it comes to TV and this particular year Sony has blown the competition out of the water IMHO.

I'm going to use it mostly for 2D content like PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 & Xbone gaming and 1080p movies with a few 3D movies here and there.
The passive 3D glasses are super comfortable and are recommended for a bespectacled dude.

Gentlemen! the beauty that I bought last night is none other than Sony Bravia 42" W800 3D Internet LED TV.

Feast on the following pictures after unboxing.

P.S. The Last of Us is the first game I started on this TV and what a game ND has produced. PC & Xbox owners owe it to themselves to buy a PS3 just for Naughty Dog video games.
