skylake cpu with windows 10 error 8016.

Just bought a skylake cpu with windows 10 and got this message in most games. At the moment I can only play LOL.
"Cannot activate a security module. This program cannot be executed(8016)"

This is related to Securom DRM. Look for an updated bios for your board.

Will GTA5 and other new games work without updating bios? I have read that updating bios is very risky.

I don't think there should be an issue. Though do check on steam / rock star social Club.

Also if you follow proper procedure updating the bios is safe

Updating bios is indeed risky (If anything goes wrong)
Normally, in new model motherboards you can update the BIOS with GUI interface and from startup as well. GUI is much simpler to follow.
Just make sure you have the motherboard book in your hand and you do exactly as it says

I remember when i updated by ASRock motherboard bios. There was no DISPLAY showing in the monitor. I thought i fired it or something went wrong.
Now i was about to remove the motherboard battery and was going to reset the CMOS until i read in the book
(DO NOT RESET THE CMOS UNTIL YOU HAVE BOOTED FIRST TIME AFTER UPDATING THE BIOS)
Then what i did was i connected by monitor to the internal VGA and removed the graphic card, The computer booted properly, after which i shut it down and then connected back the graphic card and connected display to it.

Nothing to worry about, Its safe, But anything can go wrong anytime. so you always have to be sure
Secondly, i dont think you require to update bios whenever you install a new win... I mean whats the need? to update bios everytime. Unlike Windows, your bios not stored in Hard disk, its stored in the motherboard memory, if you format your hard disk, your bios still remains in the motherboard.
