Salamz to all mates.....

I am in confusion,I need to buy a decent laptop for development purposes....I have 4,5 requirements

-I need fast processing speed,as development needs fast processing speed...
-Ram another important factor
-Stability(should runs smoothly for whole day not to get hanged or lazy)
-Battery(2 to 3 hours at least)
-Decent built-in graphics for some light gaming
-I need to do hackantosh on it...

I have a option of ALIENWARE m17x with core 2 extreme q9300,4gb ddr3,I just need to ask that will this laptop will fulfill my requirements....?
getting this for almost 60k....a lil high as compared with my budget....

Anybody who has used ALIENWARE,please share your opinion......?

Any help or suggestion would be highly appreciable....

Walkum Salam..
Bro Alienware laptop is complete your all requirements you have no budget issue already you spending 60K.
so you get all things in one in all machine only in Alienware.
Other brands HP,Dell,Fujisto,Sony not bad but alineware is awsome machine. They give you max in every thing.
Battery timing very nice
With good GPU they give you max gaming performance
Alienware laptops are cool and they give you max processing speed.

Alienware is just like Apple , over rated and over priced..

Asus has many decent high power Laptops , you should check them out...

in the end i would say , for POWER you should always go for a Custom Desktop PC , laptops are made for portability not for power... and get a decent UPS with it , and you are good to go

Never go for Alienware. Their $2000 laptops have the same specs as $1000 Sony, Dell etc. laptops. There $6000 PCs can be built with $2000 by yourself. Alienware is overpriced. Like I read on a guide, Only choose alienware if you want a little alien head on your laptop, otherwise go for other laptops.

The specs are fine for your needs. I don't know much about Hackintosh but I think it can run on all modern laptops easily. Try searching for a laptop similar to the Alienware you're looking at, you'll find it much cheaper.

Here you go boy.. the best bang for a buck ^.^
Laptops New - HP ProBook 4540s Notebook in Pakistan for Rs.63200.00 | Computer Zone
includes one of the latest graphic card 2GB 7650M.. new gen processor i5.. just visit the above link... i'm sure u'll like :) i advised you this particular laptop because if you can pay 60K for a cor2extreme laptop which is seriously wasting bro, don't mind, why can't you pay 60K for this laptop man.. i mean it's worth it. Isn't it? :) plus more faster and more advanced :)

In addition to it, alienware has both pros and cons.. if you're brand conscious and a fan boy of alienware so we can't stop you from getting your hands on it. All we can do is just to give you a healthy suggestions and advice. :) but according to my perspective don't spend 60K on a cor2extreme laptop. At the moment to me it's not a "ALIENWARE LAPTOP" but just a cor2extreme.. so take decision wisely. :) All the best bro :)
