Hi Folks!

I don't really understand where this should go so I am posting this in Chit chat.

Some months back I quit my desk job and started to work as a full-time freelancer from home. Sitting and working from home is good if you have a separate room, since I am not single I do have a room but there are two people with me all the time.

Long story short, I am looking for a shared office space or a small shop in which I can carry my laptop and work everyday. I did see some good ads on OLX for shared space but they are at Sharah-e-faisal, which is too far from my home.

If any of you guys can help me with this, I will really really appreciate.

I live near Five-start chowrangi, Nazimabad, so I am looking for places near to me.

Note: I am looking for something real cheap, since I just started this work and can't invest big atleast for now.

It'd be helpful if you mention your monthly budget in your original post. I'm not sure if it comes under your budget or not but do take a look at Dotzero and their packages: Packages |. Their office space is quite good and you'll get all the amenities that you can usually expect in a good software house. They frequently discount their services for individuals and small teams so it's worth applying there at the very least, just to see what they offer you.

Thanks for putting your time in this. It's helpful, but a bit out of my budget.

I am not really looking for a fully furnished or a front view place, since nobody will be visiting me for business meetings etc.

I am not very sure about the budget, just want to stay between 3000-5000.

I did asked some of my relatives who are pretty much involved in the area. Yes, I think I should talk to a estate agent too. Not really sure if they post such small budget rentals in newspapers?

Thanks!

Newspapers will post it as long as they're paid for it. You don't have to visit the newspaper office itself, just visit a newspaper agency or a documentation shop nearby and they'll do it for you.

I can also suggest buying a fordable divider and putting that in your room and create a "office " space ..with table and everything..I know it doesn't sound that amazing, but visually limiting yourself by putting up a divider can create a work environment.

Thanks, but that won't work. I will still have a lot of distractions, one of them is my daughter.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
