can you please tell me whats the seeding in torrents downloading, n why the files being seeded despite their downloads completed one more thing is that why i m getting slow speeds at torrents since other then that i m able to get 100+kbps average download i m using bittorent and lord torrents

seeders are people who have finished downloading and are now hosting the complete file on their torrent folder. IE the more seeders there are, the more speed you'll get.

Hmmm...Dude, you lack knowledge of torrents....Lemme explain...

In normal downloading sites, there are servers, which give you full download speed most of the time...However, this is not the case in torrents...

In torrents, THE PEOPLE are the servers...They host the downloads.... The 'seeds' are the number of people who are hosting it....But all those people are not always running torrents, and thus, they are not always seeding...This explain fluctuation while downloading from torrents, and that why you get less speed...

So when you complete downloading, and even when you have downloaded a part of the file, YOU start seeding, i,e, Now you are sharing the file with others and someone else is downloading it from you...That is why you keep seeding after the download finishes....
