SE Xperia Arc software update Issue

Need help pls!

I was experimenting on my SE Arc by upgrading its software, after it downloaded the required file and was performing installation it automatically turned off and then back on, saw unpackaging icon and then after few min smartphone switched off and now i'm unable to start it. it hasn't powered on since then.

When plugged into the charger the green light flashes. When it's plugged into pc the green light is steady and pc companion tells me to unpplug the phone and remove the battery. Then put it back together, switch the phone on and reconnect it to the pc to continue. However, the phone doesn't switch on so it doesn't matter how many times I take the battery out it is not going to connect to pc companion or power on. What has happened to my phone? it was fine before it was updated!

plus when i press power switch button and back and menu buttons together there's a slight vibration like phone is about to switch ON but can't see anything, tired this link:

but same problem, seems like i've to downgrade its software but Q is HOW? if not then how to bring this beauty to come out from the coma it's been into for the past few hours.

Secondly, if the led light flashes then there is a chance if recovery. Download PC suite if your SE from their site. There is a software called SEUS which can download updated foregate and flash iincase you have unlocked bootloader already then its doingvto be a different scene .mseiko no help then post a thread about it on axda A in Xperia Arc in Xda attirenn

i think the link i mentioned in the 1st post is SEUS and it didn't work. any other solution

I have x10 mini and the process of updating firmware seems the same and when you get a bricked set, you can run SEUS ...

Can you tell me if you're mobile is detected by system as Sony mobile?

btw.. Plug out battery from mobile for 5 mins and then keep in charger for atleast 1 hour...

if its not helping then please visit XDA forums and post question in Q & A Section...

u bricked ur phone. its an easy fix. goto xda and download unbrick package its about 60-70mb . flash it.

forgot to check my SE as was busy and samsung SII was in use so pls can you send me the exact software link for download. bit slack in searching the above mentioned file. thank you.

thanks for the help, my phone is all good, back and running. appreciated 'error' and 'jjdoctor' for replying and positive solutions.

As my SE Arc has following stock version: 2.3.2
LT15i
3.0.A.2.181

is there a way of upgrading it to 2.3.4 or above without bricking it again.

I won't suggest 2.3.4 for reason that its not worth it for Xperia Arc... Basically 2.3.4 adds voice and video call to Gtalk.. you can't use that since you don't have front facing camera in it..

One thing to note is that phones with unlocked bootloaders get locked after OTA update... Is your phone's bootloader unlocked already? If it is then Root it and Flash custom Roms..

Update it via SEUS to avoid bricking .
