SC Debit card not working?

Well some months ago I opened an account in SC because i've been hearing good about their online shopping thingy, but i am really disappointed . I CANT EVEN BUY A SINGLE THING. When I contact the helpline they say that I am entering incorrect input, but its all fine from my end. Has anyone faced this issue?

All banks in Pakistan suck when it comes to buying stuff online. Credit card is the only thing (for now) that works.

Could you tell us the URLS of the websites you're trying your card to make a purchase?


I've used SCB Debit Card on literally hundreds of websites without issues

well I am trying to purchase stuff through google wallet, I guess its not possible to purchase anything related to the google play store?

Certain debit card works online. A specific series work online as i know. The one in general bank issue will not work, some need to get online activated and for this u can confirm by calling your bank helpline. As far i know my debit card and credit card works, owning a soliatairre series of cards. See if u are able to find a solution, else there are members who could help u pay for something u like.

Mine worked last year when I ordered a couple of things from GAME.co.uk .. it depends on retailers, not all of them accept debit cards.

cause that Iportal network. Which is designed just to withdraw money from any network card. That's why it worked. That system is expensive to install. Not everyone has this facility.

lol your card might not be broke man, don't request a new one, they would charge 500rs 800rs muft main

this happened to me once, some declined attempts on the internet and they temporarily blocked my ATM. i called them up and requested for this block to be lifted after some verifications, this block prevents the card to be used illegally whether be online or ON ATMS ! its a precaution measure, so do clear this up before ending up with two debit cards for no reason !

hhehe junaid bhai decide after having a look at my card but STILL I WILL TRY the bank care helpline first i tried at meezan bank.. it declined recognizing the CARD

MAGNETIC STRIP is still fine.. it shud work

after seeing the condition of ur card, definately throw it away order new one haha

the magnetic strip from above is a bit broken off, it wouldn't work ! hard to imagine what happened to it that it got such serious damage :S

Pakistan'i debit/credit cards are the most unreliable method of buying online, they may work on some merchants while get declined on others.
Entropay is another solution if your debit card is getting declined.
