Hello Pg Members members I'm to be married in the start of December 2018.
So we are planning to make the best out of our Honeymoon and enjoy ourselves. We both have never traveled out of our resident country before so this will be our first experience. So we need your expert opinions regarding the best place to spent our honeymoon.
We are planning to take 15 days for honeymoon which effectively should include new years in it as well so we can enjoy new years celebration as well in an outside country. To have a rough estimate we are planning to leave in the last week of dec 18 to the first week of jan 19.
Some points to consider so it is easier for you guys to suggest me the best place are as follows;
My budget : $4000-$4500 around PKR 5 Lacs which includes plane tickets, food, hotel etc
My Current Location : Pakistan
Our Likes : Where they is nature beauty and its secluded so we can have our privacy (beaches, mountains, damp forest, hiking, waterfalls etc.)
Our Dislikes : Skyscraper countries with less or no natural beauty example Dubia.
I also did some research and found out Maldives is the hot spot for honeymoon but i read from reviews that Maldives for new years celebration is a no go plus we don't want to spent 15 days just near the beach so i was thinking why not cover two places in this trip like Maldives + turkey or some other combination so we can enjoy new years celebration as well.
P.S: i check google maps Maldives and Turkey are really far from each other and i doubt it will be covered in our budget.
Please also share hotel to stay (+ Jacuzzi would be a plus point), food, cheap and reliable airline)
Thanks in advance to you all for valuable input.

Assalamu Alikum, your attributes to the choice of place are as same as mine. I went to Malaysia last year with my wife for around 12 days. Coasted around 4-5 lacs (including ticketing, taxi, meals, little shopping and buying tickets for entertainments (theme park, Jacuzzi e.t.c.). You can book hotels for your stay from bookingDOTcom easily. People are extremely nice and you will find the place with all sorts of attractions.

If you prefer shopping with nice tourist spots, you can visit kuala lumpur
If you want something like Murree (Hilly areas), you can visit Genting Highlands.
For beaches with crowd/public, I prefer Penang (batu ferrangi beach)
For beaches with less crowd, peaceful environment (langkawi)
For hiking (Cameron Highlands)

There are tons of places you can visit other then what I mentioned above. Moreover don't visit Turkey, its shitty for a person with the taste for adventures. All you can find something cool is Air Balloons in Cappadocia. One of my colleague just came from Turkey (he's bachelor) and he preferred going to Thailand again instead of Turkey. Thailand on the other side, is good but you'll have a lot of issue with finding good halal restaurants. Also scamming with tourists in Thailand and Turkey is quite a lot compared with Maldives and Malaysia.

Dubai is a big NO, shittiest place on earth.

Congratulations man! I also might get married in December so let's see what people recommend. I'll take benefit as well. Haha.

According to what I've seen and heard from people, Malaysia is awesome! Thailand is great and comparatively cheap as well but food issues as one of the brother above mentioned that.

Dubai should be fine in December but I'm sure you'll get bored there. I went there a month ago and I had an amazing time. I went alone though.

it all depends on what you want your honey moon to be about. since you already mentioned (beaches, mountains, damp forest, hiking, waterfalls etc.)

In this scenario turkey wont fit in. istanbul is a beautiful place but more of historic. you go there and visit museums, old mosques and get the feel of ancient and ottoman empire. if you value these things then there is no place better than turkey. i personally love istanbul.
however, there is activity part in turkey in the city of antalya which has the beaches and water sports activity.

Thailand offcourse would be the cheapest option and would have all the things you require. but do your research thoroughly, as already mentioned of tourist scams, mugging etc in thailand is common

One more good option is srilanka, yes you heard it right. i have been to all 3 countries mentioned above (including malaysia as well).
srilanka have beautiful landscape, mountains, etc. for activities you can do water rafting, water ascending (getting down on a waterfall on a rope) and also hiking. its cheap as well. so research srilanka as well. there are beaches as well.

Malaysia is a good option as one person already mentioned above, it have all the basic beach sports, city life in kuala lumpur, ambient halal food, genting area for natural beauty

Been to italy as well .Nothing much to do there. you just roam around and absorb the ancient sites and heritage etc.

Many people are nowadays going to BAKU and cambodia as well. research them as well. havent been there so cant say anything about it.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
