RGH & xk3y

Friends,

I am a casual gamer and want to get my XBOX Slim (Manufacturing date 29-Jul-10) to be modded. I have done some basic research on available options (RGH & xk3y) and so far I prefer RGH because of following reasons
1) Ability to play games from internal drive
2) Region free gaming
3) Unlocked XBL Arcade games

My concerns are the following

1) I haven’t updated to dash 2.0.14717.0 so far. But want to know if I get my Console RGH first and then update to new dash, will it still undo the RGH?
2) Does that mean that I will never be able to update dashboard? This might mean that future games won’t play.
3) Is xk3y Future proof? Or future updates will make it useless too?
4) I will be in Karachi next week for 1 week only. Is it even possible to get modded via xk3y as I believe the hardware needs to be ordered?

I don't think you would need to update the dashboard. If you update your dashboard through live, your box would not be able to be RGHed. Just don't go online and take it to a modder in Karachi. Popular ones are [MENTION=10095]ModMonsta[/MENTION] and [MENTION=2128]faizy[/MENTION] .

And im sure someone would fill you in about the xk3y as I don't have any idea aobut it.

1) Once you RGH/Jtag your console, NEVER update via xbox live or from any disc or usb (by this I mean official Microsoft update).
2) Hacked dashboards come within a week or two after official update like Xebuild/360 multi builder so you can always go on latest dashboard yourself without taking your console for modifications.
3) Currently yes they are future proof. Just needs updates.
4) Yes it needs to be ordered plus is very expensive.

afaik u dont even need to mod ur 360 for xk3y.just dump the drive's FW on the HD and plug-n-play.

well you can get the RGH because it is the better option over xkey.... wayy better ..... plus xkey is far more expensive than the cost it ould take to RGH your console

^^mate its very expensive(nearly twice the cost of RGH) and it does nothing more than playing games from HDD ... RGH gives you soo much more .... DLC/XBLA games ... Region free console ... playing games from HDD(which is the only thing that x360key does)...

and as for Xk3y Vs RGH Let's just say "To each his own" and leave it at that.All the features, all the pros and cons of Both RGH and xK3y are known and detailed and it's upto the users to pick the best device/method for their needs.
