PORTABLE Revived my psp, recommendations needed.

As the title suggests, I just got my psp fixed, and since I never had a proper opportunity in the past to use it, I want to avail this time to see what made this console so successful. So please recommend me some good games (I've heard there are loads of Jrpgs on the psp, and since I've never experienced the genre, give me some beginner titles please)
