hi, i have branded dell optiplex 3010 core i3 3.30 ghz 4 gb ddr3 ram . give me suggesstion about nvedia graphic card which can play GTA iv easily.

Hd 6450 is good option. Another GPU at this range is GT610 but 6450 is little faster than 610.

Another thing GPU at this range don't survive long. Every new game will give you some trouble running with these GPUs. My advice is to gather some more money and buy 7750 atleast. or for the time being you can get 6450 and after sometime shift to good GPU.

Thought this might be the appropriate thread - I am looking to upgrade my GPU but am not whether I should take the plunge or not; my ATI 6950 2 GB is showing its age, especially after I got a second monitor. My current specs are; i5 3570k (not oc'ed, don't have decent cooling or a decent mobo, its a cheap as shit intel mobo which I got in a pinch) 32gb Ram (freq is at 1600, not sure about timings) I don't want to upgrade to a 290 / 290x since they run hot (even with non reference boards I would prefer not to go with AMD cause its quite warm in Khi as it is); I don't game with dual monitors but prefer to use the secondary monitor to browse / watch random shit or run a second game (dat dere dota tv ). Any way I'm assuming that my best bet would be the 780gtx - what prices should I be expecting in the market ? And if I sell the 6950 what should I be expecting to receive for it (note that I don't have any of the boxes or anything that came with the GPU since I brought it back with me when I moved back to Pak from NA). I don't necessarily have to sell the 6950 as I would probably keep it handy to run a mini itx build in the future; if it is worth selling then I would. Any assistance appreciated !

Its a DZ77SL-50k; only reason why i'd want a new mobo is if i would OC the processor, but afaik there should be no performance loss or gain due to the mobo. I do get 300 fps in global offensive, 100 fps plus in dota 2, but since I got the asus 144hz monitor as secondary it begins to show its age when i multitask (two games up at once, watching an HD movie / show whilst playing a game).

Please note that I will only be gaming at 1080p but would prefer something beastly so that I can avoid upgrading for another year or so. Leaning towards the 780gtx at the moment

^Razor items are very less durable. I also have double click problem with Taipan.

I'll suggest go for Logitech mice. They are better quality wise. Right now they have latest Proteus Core Gaming Mouse series out.

I've read that the R290 and 780gtx are on almost equal footing (but the R290 is more future proof, especially with the extra Vram). Which one should I be going for?

Also in relation to this, I will be selling my Diamond 6950 Reference card; have gotten an offer for 8k from my computer guy (i don't have the box / manual or anything). Is that a fair deal ?
