PC and console games have nearly identical graphics quality and performance.

Just look at the video below of RE4 Remake Ultra Setting vs PS5. I can't spot much difference. Most won't notice any difference.

Only the most exacting and fussy gamers who prefer gaming at native 4K at 120 FPS would prefer the PC version. It is a matter of choice.

Unless a day 1 patch brings parity, performance is significantly favoring PS5 (based on the above test), and then there's the deadzone issue with the Series X. You also get gyro aim, which, personally for me, is a game changer. Adaptive triggers, haptics, speaker sounds are the immersive icings on the cake.

I'll keep an eye on it till release date to change my order lol.

Almost all multi platform owners on Era are saying the Xbox version looks notably sharper.

Interlaced option looks so bad, that's what the consoles use by default. On the plus side for lower end systems, it gives like a 20fps+ boost, so no wonder consoles have to use it.

Buying an X Box Series X does not make any sense.

All X Box games are available on Steam.

A PS5 is a better proposition than an Xbox Series X as a lot more exclusives, most of which are a pathetic sub-par PC ports that crash a lot.

I recommend buying a PS5 and a decent gaming PC at $1000 - $1200 for the best gaming experience.

It does. People like to call it "checkerboarded" there. DF has confirmed this is the past

Beyond that, another semi-hidden upgrade is the interlacing/checkerboard option used by the consoles and now working well on PC, a good way to boost performance with limited drawbacks (mostly on RT reflection quality and transparent effects)

Resident Evil's new PC patches compromise visuals and hit performance hard

If you're not using ray tracing, don't upgrade - it's that simple.

PC versions interlacing or even native has worse AA compared to console, so that very bad interlacing ur seeing is a PC exclusive feature
