Red lines across fulll screen and Sudden HDCP incompatiblity

Heyy guys

I ran into a strange problem with my display. I have a 22 inch DELL P2210 LCD monitor. It was running great and i connected it to my GTX 970 with a DVI-HDMI cable. Suddenly my display started to behave strangely. I see red line and dots across my screen when i am gaming in full screen but when i turn the settings to windowless border, the dots and lines disappear. Also i see red flickering lines across when i watch movies or do some other work. These red lines are frequent and ever present when i play games on full screen.

Also it used to show HDCP compatibility on the Nvidia control panel but now it says my display is not HDCP compatible.

I dont know whats the problem.. is it my monitor r has my GPU suddenly broke..

The solutions i have tried are: -
i changed and brought a new DVI HDMI cable but with that, things only got worse. i now use a HDMI to HDMI cable with converter attached to the monitor. This reduces flickering lines allot but they are still present.

I reinstalled drivers but it dint work

Now i run games at borderless full screen

The GPU temp is also normal at 73 to 75 degrees on intensive gaming.

Dont know what the problem is..PLz help any1.

Have you tried connecting with VGA port? Also since you are trying stuff why not change the display monitor and see if the problem still persists.
