TP-link works fine for me 24/7 (and yeah it's cheap somethin like 2500 for 54m range)

you want a cheap router get TP-Link
you want quality+cheap get Linksys
you want quality get D-Link

btw i bought this D-Link ADSL2+ Router for Rs. 5000...the model is DSL-2640T
its working flawlessly!!!

rapchik can u tell me from where did u bought linksys wrt54g router.

Guys who are saying that tplink is good should read the xbitlabs article first. This is their conclusion.

Highs:

  • Good speed (except for the WAN interface)
  • Good implementation of all supported features in the web-interface
  • Simple and easy-to-use setup interface
  • Low price
  • Light and compact
  • Good implementation of PPTP connections
Lows:

  • Does not support data transfers bypassing the active VPN tunnel
  • Low speed of the WAN interface
  • Does not support dynamic routing
  • Inconvenient firmware update process (with the older version)
  • Not easy to dismantle
  • Scanty accessories
  • Wireless signal loses intensity dramatically when meets solid obstacles
  • No QoS settings
  • Poor manufacturing quality
This is a result of going with cheap router.

I recently got the Asus WL 500W...its a little expensive but its got a ton of features...I haven't really experimented with it yet but from what I've read online you can customize a whole lot...
