NINTENDO Recent Wii update

Anyone get a message a day or so ago from Nintendo regarding the addtion of Nintendo (or something) channel, and that you have to do a system update to get it to show in Wii Shop?

Anyone done it, who has D2C chip and D2CKey or D2Pro? Let me know...

i have a d2c mod chip mate but i havent recieved such a notice yet.

Well, have you ever done any update? My Wii Shop doesn't work unless I do an update, and I want the Opera browser on it which I can only do once I update...

well since i only play my regions games i allow it to update my consoles firmware and since i played mario kart wii it means that it is updated to the latest firmware which ill check and tell u.

Was able to update my modded D2C Wii from 3.1U to 3.2U without any problem... Now I can access Wii Shop etc. Anyone have 500 Wii points that I can get as a gift so I can get the Internet browser? I'll pay you in rupees for the equivalent...

No, went to system update in the wii menu options and decided to take the plunge. My Wii Shop wasn't working before and now it is! Got some new channels and now just trying to get Internet on it now...

yeah u can update ur system fw by going manually into the system settings and doing it from there ... thats a good way to cehck if u are up to date...

Wont i need an internet connection meaning wifi for that???
Is there any game out which will update it cause im still on 3.1U and i dont have a wireless connection.

super smash bros can do 3.2u if u want but only get us ssbb as u say u have us wii...

mani i have a ssbb dvd original which i bought while in the US but it has updated it to 3.1U and not 3.2U any thoughts???
what about mario kart?

yup mario kart def would do the trick make sure toget the us version tho
