Given that the dimension shifting portals/crystals are placed at fixed locations, Nixxes could simply alter the way streaming is handled and start loading in data in advance rather than doing it instantly, and Necrokiller would think it's DirectStorage that's doing the heavy lifting

It's also important to realize that improving LOD management isn't the goal of fast I/O. It's to provide rapid access of decompressed data to the cpu/gpu
