Purchasing an iPhone

Hey people and ya iPhone freaks out there........Need some info on buying an iPhone from the market......Am planning to buy a second hand iPhone from the market (am in Lahore) so need some info as what to look out for and for how much can i get a iPhone 2G or 3G second hand........I heard that if you are purchasing an iPhone 2nd hand than you must also look out for the box....iPhone without it's box means err trouble....So help will be greatly appreciated....Thanxxx

box doesn't matter, buy the 3G, 2G sux!

secondly make sure that it don't contain any dumb-ass turbo sim shit, buy the iphone with 2.2 firmware which contains the modem firmware: 02.28.00 anything greater then this require turbo sim which is a bull crap.

Actually basband doesnt matter now. Os3 was released 2 days ago and its jailbreak yesterday, which i applied at the same time. Still no sim unlock at the moment but it will come out in a day or two. So get the iphone no matter wat version it has then upgrade/jailbreak/unlock the os3 urself.

UltraSnow will soon be available to unlock 3g on os 2.2.1 with baseband 2.30 and 3g on os3...so dont worry about baseband
