To me pudge seems to be a very un versatile hero. Hook, rot, dismember, chase if need be. But what if he had an alteration to one of the skills he already has.
I suggest changing meat hook, well maybe not changing but adding to it.
As i see it, you should have an option above the skill to choose which direction his hook will go.
For example if the arrow points down, hook will work in the traditional way and pull the first target to him.
However if the arrow if pointing up the hook will pull pudge to what ever it hits, almost like a grappling hook.
