Lolz mine is just 7gb and one thing I have noticed that broadband becomes slow like hell after 7pm but wingle gives 3/4mpbs almost all the time, and it even gets better after 12pm 6/7mpbs

under the promotion package, change from pre to post and vice versa is not possible... in fact I purchased wingle on last day of promotion from PTCL OSS and the guy there misguided me... i obviously wanted the wingle as back up (i.e. pre-paid)...when he took the form from me, he himself wrote Rs 4250/ (i.e charges for post pay)... when I asked him that I need pre-paid and should be charged Rs 3000/- , he cut 4250 to 3000 on his copy of form and told me that in this case he's not sure whether normal package (Rs 2500) will be activated or the promotion one (Rs 1250)... I got confused and the OSS guy said that promotion package is gauranteed in case of post-paid and that I can change to pre-paid any time... so I was satisfied...

Few days back, I mailed to evo support to change my package to pre-paid.. I was told to contact 1236 for that

When I called 1236, I was told that he can change my package to pre-paid but then the promotion will be over i.e. it will become normal Rs 2500 package,
He confirmed the same from his supervisor... and told me that while getting orders on 1236, they have specifically told the customers about this aspect to choose package (pre-paid or post paid) carefully as it can not be changed under the promotion.... he simply regretted to offer any help as he has no option to change the package in the system...

When I told him that I was specifically told by OSS guy that package can be changed later on, the 1236 guy suggested me to contact the Business Manager of the concerned OSS...
I am certain that PTCL copy of the service form still has the cutting from Rs 4250 to Rs 3000 and then again to Rs 4250...

I am feeling so pissed off... I needed wingle just as a back up so as to remain connected when i'm away from home for a week or two... I am pretty much happy with the DSL at home...but with this post-paid thing, I'm bound to pay the bills even if I dont use it....

What do you guys suggest I should do?

generally, no antenna is required if you get 3 stable bars... but the antenna does a pretty good job of boosting the signal strength... One of my friends used to get 2 and sometimes 3 bars...after he installed the antenna, it is 4 stable bars and an increase in average speed too

Before buying the device call ptcl and give the MDN number of the device ask them what package it is on
Only after u get confirmation that the device is pre paid and on 50% package should u buy it
