PTCL Evo Nitro 3G Issues...

Hello.. I purchased PTCL EVO Nitro 3G.. its performance is satisfactory but i am facing some issues.

most of the times speed goes down to 0kpbs and never goes up until i disconnect device from laptop and again connect the device to laptop.. This issue is very often..

Is anyone else facing this issue?

regarding speed. I get 200-300 KBps in day time (In Islamabad)

in Lalamusa i can get upto 900 KBps in day time.

It happens to me as well, but only at few areas in karachi. It works well at my home.
Connect your device to usb, and in evo nitro software, while the internet is disconnected.
click settings and try changing your mode from hybrid to cdma.
if it works well in cdma mode, this means there is no/less evdo coverage in your area..

any fix to the aforementioned problem of disconnecting and reconnecting usb?

goto control panel ----> power mode----> balance mode---->advance setting---->and change all sleep sleep to never mode.....
then disconnect the device and again connect..its work perfectly.....otherwise go to zte office to upgrade your evo usb firmware..it can b fix

I have the Evo Nitro, the service is very bad at my office, its dead S L O W on shara e faisal, however in defence and my area (malir) its awesome, i get torrents at 800k easy, havent checked out the devise in anyother area though.

Is the firmware available online? I actually have a Huawei nitro device as well which never gave me any problems and has a much better build quality as well. I got so desperate I even started looking up ways to change the MDN number on devices so as to change the 1k/month special Nitro package from this USB device to the other.

However, I am open to all options, even if an upgraded firmware does it.

uninstall evo from ur computer and reinstall, happens sometimes no biggie
